Ordered by phone n told 45 mins arrived about 30.
Thought I'd try somdthing different n went for a CHIX BEMSIL MADRASS HOT. wow was i impressed. Did not want to stop eating.
Partner had MEAT BUNA MADRASS n
cleaned up.
NAAN AND CHAPATTIES were fluffy light and fresh.

Came here on a whim and it has now possibly become my favorite Indian restaurant.
Menu had the usual items but also had some dishes that I had never tried before.
Staff were knowledgeable and provided some great banter.
Well worth visit and will definitely be back!

Best food about. The BANGAL is the best curry in the uk by far, the flavours are amazing and authentic. All the staff are really great and accommodating. 10/10 easy

What a terrible people working here!!!
This restaurant is surely losing business because of its rude staff and terrible customer service. The place was nearly empty, with only three tables occupied, yet they refused to let us sit at a sofa table where we would have been more comfortable. They claimed it was only for four /eight people, even though another couple was sitting at a similar table. We asked politely, but they were dismissive and unhelpful. Please read all the reviews before wasting your time and money here ? there are far better places to dine.
Their customer service was rude and unaccommodating. It was frustrating and unfair, and we left extremely disappointed.
We went at 9pm and at last of all the debate for table they said its a closing time. Whereas, closing time was 10:30pm.
We ignored other bad reviews before stepping into it and felt exactly the same.

The menu has plenty to choose from and the staff are very attentive and their interaction adds to the vibe. The food tastes great

We went Saturday night , and have been going for 20 years and have never been so disappointed in the behaviour of the manager, just downright rude , each time we go our bill is £250+ as there's always at least 8 of us....I called on the day and asked for a high chair as we were let down for child care. To be told I should book one when I book the table. I said oh I will bring the booster that I attach to a dining chair then, no you're in a booth. Turn up to be asked where the baby is so I said well she hasn't come because we didn't have anywhere to sit her....he then says I've changed all my bookings and tables for you the high chair is there and then said just sit them down. Later after we ordered I asked if we could have 1 madras to take away (for the pwrson who had to miss out because they didnt have a high chair!)....no it will be an hour....he then agreed after my husband asked again and made us wait 40 minutes for it stood in the restaurant. After we finished our meals and they cleared the table they were ready for us to leave I said where are the cakes .... we were there for my son and daughters birthday.... he then said oh its late didn't think you wanted them! I can safely say we will definitely not be returning the attitude is absolutely disgusting! Can't believe the difference a refurbishment can make to the running of a place, so so disappointed.

Not been since the refurb and wow! It?s amazing inside. Staff are so friendly and lovely food. I had king prawn Dopiaza and a kulcha nan (best nan I have ever had). Loads of prawns, delicious sauce. Wine at a reasonable price. Fantastic place.
