JUST INCREDIBLE. Can always guarantee an incredible dining experience here. The staff are SO SO lovely and welcoming, they make everyone feel special. The food is out of this world, I have never been disappointed.

We went for our anniversary dinner and the experience was absolutely wonderful. All the Staff were super friendly and the food was incredible

Overnight stay, room very tired and needs work but bed clean and comfy. No breakfast served here but plenty of options elsewhere. However, restaurant is amazing, chefs Ryan and Jade really know their stuff. Place was fully booked out, with parties being turned away. The rest of the crew here are happy smiley and so welcoming, would not hesitate to return. Thanks for a great stay x

First time at the Durham ox, we came for Sunday lunch, food was delicious, dessert was delicious, red wine was lovely, will 100% return!

This place is a little gem , from the outside it just looks like a little old boozer . But inside it's so cosy and welcoming. The staff are so friendly and the food is the bee's knees . My wife and I went on a recommendation from a friend, it didn't disappoint the roast was one of the best we have ever had out . We liked it so much we booked again gor the following week . I would recommend this lovely friendly gastro pub to everyone.

We were given vouchers for a meal. This has to be the best meal that we have had! It was beautifully presented and perfect. thank you to the chef, kitchen staff and waiters and waitresses. I would highly recommend this! Thank you for excellent and professional service.

A lovely meal with great service and food at a great price. We had arancini, crab and slow cooked beef starters, aubergine ragu, lamb Shank, butter paneer and the burger. All the food was tasty and very well cooked with great flavours. Check out the lamb Shank picture. The service was excellent and friendly from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Just a really great evening with a table of 8 of us. Thank you.
