All the staff from reception to optometrist were consummate professionals. I found the service and care excellent.

Ilkeston spec savers were excellent - customers service by all staff was excellent.
I have used 3 other branches of spec savers (Sheffield and Rotherham) and always been extremely disappointed and unimpressed with poor service but Ilkeston were completely different!!!

Pleased with my changed prescription for near and distance glasses but was told I would have to wait for an appointment at Royal Derby to have laser treatment on my left eye which is fogged. A shame I will have to pay again afterwards for another prescription after paying about £160.

Had the most wonderful thorough sight test following two cataract removal's December 14th and June 24th at Ilkeston Hospital.
On reception was signed in by Jake,a very polite young man.Seated for about two minutes was taken for a digital retinal scan by Laura,again a very polite lovely member of staff.
Seated again for five minutes was taken for my sight test with Mike who certainly knows his stuff.Explained my scan results to me,answered all of my concerns proceeding with a very thorough sight test which I might add we were both pleased with the results !
Having just a couple of minor problems was advised by Mike to use eye gel to massage my lids and for the comfort of an eye mask to use heated or frozen which I have used (frozen) and found it amazing !

Very friendly and helpful .glasses sorted and chosen with a lovely lady called Nicky x eye test and hearing test all done ?? seen at appointment time . Highly recommend. Lovely staff great service . Never had any issues over the years x thank you again
