This little cafe/restaurant has a lovely menu and great choice , however, they chuck everything in the microwave ! Quiche, pies , roast potatoes all reheated for a few minutes, it completely spoils it. What a shame. I've had some lovely salads previously (safe as no heating required) but wouldn't order hot food from here again unless the microwave was out of order and they actually used an oven to cook their food ! Gave 4* for service as staff were lovely

First time there and we had roast dinner. No air conditioning where we were sat, the dining room was very very warm and just because we were with our dog! The waitress did bring us drinks and glasses and two out of two were very dirty! Seemed like they didn?t even rinse them at all.
The food?no fresh/ homemade at all (I know you can?t ask for too much for £11). So, overall, next time would be just for drinks! Environment was great as we had live music, our dog did love it, despite the heat.

We had a afternoon tea, which was lovely. Plenty between 2 of us.
My little girl had a jacket potato with cheese and beans.
Was plenty of room and service was quick and staff extremely friendly.

Decided to pop in for a drink, it was quite busy, but didn't know if people were waiting for tables, or just shopping has some of the tables are right next to the walkway, ordered two cups of tea, and a fruit juice, had to wait 25 minutes before it turned up, not very good won't be going again

Arrived at 1.30pm for lunch. I wouldn't say it was packed, but after 10 mins of being seated no one had come to take our order. I asked if someone was free. A girl came took our order but then said that it would be a 30 minute wait on food. 45 mins later I asked if it would soon be ready and was told it was ready. 5 minutes later it did arrive, but with no apology for the wait. The two girls serving looked miserable like they would rather be anywhere else than there. We won't be returning.

Sat down and waitress came straight over hadn't even looked at menu yet. Didn't return to us for ten minutes. Ordered coffee brought over tea, no sorry. Paid £5.95 for a tin of Heinz tomato soup not home made.
Only one serviette between two people.
Lacking customer care.

If you want a really good breakfast at good price then don't miss this place, breakfast is amazing.
Not tried anything other than breakfast but if they do this this great then the other food must be great as well.

Lovely breakfast, great service and a wonderful atmosphere, there was 10 of us for breakfast and the staff are great and well organized.

Food was lovely had a prawn sandwich which was served with coleslaw,hand cooked crisps and salad .Ordered a pot of tea for two that was dissapointing,we didnt even get 2 cups each out of it .

Very disappointing lunch. Lack lustre, less than tepid, tasteless, thin, individual ? bacon and cheese? quiche with a soft herby pastry and 6-7 tepid chips and a half plate full of little gem lettuce leaves salad.
Not what I would describe as home baked.
Would have given feedback whilst there but nobody came to ask if everything was ok.
Admittedly not expensive but had hoped for better
Definitely wouldn?t rush back.
