Staff are lovely here. Went to the Cashier/counter services just to take £10 out and it went well. HSBC is still better tho!!

Not customer orientated. Wanted to deposit money. The deposit machine had a queue and a cashier was not serving any customers. Went to the cashier to deposit the money, cashier has refused to serve me, and told to go to the machine.

Unfortunately i cant put zero stars. Bone idol and useless. Waited 3 month for an appointment to open an account for my child, to then be told that the cashier on the day I booked the appointment could have sorted it there and then.
Went to pay money in today and was told I had to use the machine to pay in!
My card wouldn't work in the machine! I travelled to the Long Eaton branch where there was no hesitation for their cashier to take my cash. I explained the shocking service of the incompetent staff at Ilkeston and they were shocked!
To add to the insult at the Ilkeston branch. There was a que at the deposit machine (and only 1 of these machines) and no que at the cashier desk where 3 staff members were sitting!

I have been with lloyds for nearly 30 years and bank with you for savings, personal use and business use. I went in today to pay in multiple types of cash into different accounts. I approached the cash desk as there when I told them I had cash the cashier told me bank policy was that I had to use the paying in machine (that now had a que!) I told her I had several accounts to pay into and different types of cash. She said company policy is that we now have to use the machine for notes... so I stated I didn't like using the machines as they nearly always go wrong and don't count the money properly, she refused to serve me and directed me away. I stated I was appalled and would be prepared to change banks if that was the case, she just said "well that's ypur choice sir" and pointed me away!!!! Fuming! I used the machine and true to form it chewed up and spat put several notes, all in this time the staff were stood around when you could of had 4 casheers on and demonstrated good customer service and like nearly all people I know now hate lloyds for the fact it is going automated! We all miss talking to real people and the personal interaction. Awful experience, not only are you closing banks but now trying to make the rest automated. I'm leaving lloyds and moving to Nationwide as they seem to be everywhere.

This is not my main bank but we do use this bank for certain transactions and I find the staff very helpful and friendly. The premises are clean and tidy with two hole in the wall machines outside
