Ordered a chair through the app said it was ready to collect today so drove from Mansfield (as no other stores had them in stock other then Ilkeston) took us over an hour in traffic, triple checked everything was okay before we left the house kept saying ready to collect, checked halfway to the store and it said collect tomorrow..so phoned the helpline to which they said they don?t have the chair in stock but on the app it says ready to collect today?waste of time and journey and you have to wait 5 days for a refund joke ..maybe they should look at updating there app so it?s actually accurate instead of giving false information.

Ordered an item over the phone and told it would be there for me to collect after 10am the next day. It wasn't. I was told it would now be the next day. Total waste of time.

If you reserve something online and collect here, no problem, but try and buy something, they are clueless.
I had a gift voucher so took it into store to buy something I had my eye on, you can?t buy that using a gift voucher I was told. What? How do you work that out I enquired, my manager told me she replied, well why don?t you try, oh no, the manager said you can?t use a gift voucher to buy that, it won?t work she said defiantly. Well you haven?t even tried I told her as I turned and left as I realised I was facing wilful ignorance.
I went home onto the Argos website and made my purchase using the very gift voucher they were adamant wouldn?t go through.
I won?t waste my time with them again

The staff were extremely helpful I had purchased a couple of things one was a large box.the assistant could see I might struggle with it as I'm 70 and i have a bad back and I have difficulty walking. She brought the items out for me to my car which helped me tremendously.it was nice to recieve great customer service and I am leaving this review to show my appreciation and to say thanks,far too many are quick to moan but it's nice to give credit where credits due

At the merry age of 29 today I have been refused collection of some garden edging shears, stating I may not be of age to purchase.
I?ll have to pop back on my 30th birthday to see if Tyler deems me of age to purchase such dangerous equipment.

I bought a DJI Mini 2 SE drone nine days ago from Argos at Ilkeston. On getting it home I charged the batteries for a 5 minute test flight.
The drone has no screen with it and I had to use my smart phone which was of no use outdoors as the images were too dark.
I wanted to return the item for credit and purchase a more expensive drone which has a screen on the control pad.
The store manager refused to refund the purchase as the box and been opened and the drone had been used ( 5 minutes ).
I discovered that they don't have a 30 day returns policy for the drone and they won't credit a product if the box has been opened and the items used at all.
I cannot recommend anyone to use Argos because of their Returns Policy and wish I had bought the item from Amazon who are more flexible.
We have bought a lot of items from Argos over the years but never again.

Terrible place. Avoid at all costs. I placed an order for click and collect for a game. My son is 31 years old and they asked him for ID. He offered to get tme as I had ordered it on my phone and was waiting in the car but they refused saying that I couldn?t collect it in case I passed it on to him and we were accused of proxy selling absolutely ridiculous. My son looks his age they would not let us resolve it and we had driven half an hour. I cancelled the order in the end and went somewhere else avoid this branch they were all stood there like a bunch of idiots?. Argos management if you are reading this you need to sort out the staff in the branch. They are rude look at the reviews from other people as well.

Had to return an item today and wow what an attitude from the woman doing the returns. (Black hair and glasses)I won't be using waterside store again...I have never been treated like that by younger staff anywhere else.
