I have often visited this shop and found it to be a marvel of local produce . The staff are wonderful and the shop is like a tardis with a new surprise round the corner. Artisan bread, local ice cream ,ready made filled baguettes. Give it a visit

DISGUSTING!! Advertising 'Heated Tobacco Sold Here' in your shop window. Haven't you noticed over the past couple of decades that we are trying to inform people, especially our younger, more easily influenced sectors of society, that tobacco harms. Even this week we have seen and heard in the media that vapeing will be coming under closer scrutiny, with tighter controls and regulations, and smoking in even more designated areas will become prohibited. But you have seen a quick profit opportunity, and gone for it, irrespective of any harm or issues to others. Take it off your shelves and sell something decent and healthy instead.

A fairly typical Spar but with a large selection of local produce (some of it looks really good).The lower rating is because many of the mainstream basics were way over-priced (although in a high volume tourist area should be expected).In-store bakery items were really good (we?ll be testing these later - pictures to follow).

Fantastic shop, very well stocked, you can shop for ingredients for a gourmet meal but they have Cooks meals as well. Decent selection of wine and beer including the local beers from Thornbridge brewery. Excellent sourdough bread and pastries. There is a convenient parking too.

Cannot believe the price of their veg.Loose red peppers £1.40 each.Basic Tomatoes £2.20 for 5.You could drive a Rolls Royce to Bakewell and buy the same and still be better off.Come on Mr White...your having a laugh.
