We got sandwiches which were freshly made and tasty. There were other baked goods, pasties, cakes etc which looked amazing but we didn't buy any. On the pricey side but nice for a treat.

This is the star of Castleton I would suggest. The croissants are great, even with raspberry and the pork pies are to die for! Definitely recommend calling in.

I would rather this higher than 5 stars if I could!! The biscoff croissant was so delicious we had to go back for more. Really wish we didn't live so far away! We also ate some of their breakfast baguettes, they were kind of thrown together but they still tasted so good!
The lady at the front was very kind and helpful, even though she said it was her first day.

The softest, crumbliest, tastiest Bakewell tarts I've come across. The freshly baked pies hot from the oven are a revelation.

The claim to have the best sausage rolls but they shouldn't neglect to promote the pork pies. They are simply fantastic!
Other reviewers have added photos and these barely do justice. It's so rare to get a pie with some jelly! Mmmmmmm!

Great sandwiches, pork pies etc - plus local honey, ice cream, beer and cheese etc. Service is friendly but the new owners haven't got it quite right yet - long queues, and much of the stuff including ready meals, nuts and fresh fruit etc is very expensive (£4 for a small punnet of grapes, £5.95 for hasselback potatoes in July '25).

Lovely stuff. We got the pork pie and Sally?s cherry Bakewells from the counter. Both absolutely delicious. We didn?t buy the focaccia but it looked proper. Reasonably priced. I would be a regular if only I lived closer!

Got a cheese and onion pork pie and let me tell you it?s was the bees knees. Might see it on the pricy side but it?s proper meat and tasteful.

Had breakfast rolls here this morning. The food was satisfactory but the waiting times let it down. We were waiting twenty minutes for two breakfast rolls. That being said, the servers were friendly and we appreciate it's a hot day and a busy Saturday.
