“This was an amazing break away we loved our stay .The staff were very helpful, our room was one of the best we have stayed in. The food was delicious. We did some lovely walks around the area and enjoyed a drink in the newly refurbished outside area. Will definitely be back .”

“Attended a hen weekend here beginning of June. Absolutely loved the place, we were a group of 18 more then enough room had a lovely walk down into the village. We were lucky to have glorious sunshine, would have preferred a pool then hottub but only because of the hot weather, the hose pipe was probably used more. Could do with some grass or turf, a place to relax that wasn't on stone's. Terrible back ache from the pub benches but that would be my own grumble, very small as it is :-). Would suggest this place to high heaven. The whole place was spotless. Does however need a hair dryer, 18 ladies not 1 hair dryer. To sum up excellent place 100% recommended”

“We had a wonderful meal at Ye Olde Nag's Head. The food was absolutely delicious (bangers and mash / chilli burger), the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service from Darren and Caroline was exceptional. Next time we're in Castleton, we'll definitely be back!”
