ASH , the owner tried to make me buy a product I had a prescription for. Saying he didn?t make as much money if an item was on a script. He then started shouting saying Lloyds chemists are under extreme pressure to charge high at the moment . He told me as a Lloyds chemist, they might have to close if they don?t make enough money . I rang Lloyds and they informed me that is IS NOT A LLYODS PHARMACY!!! After searching I discovered he is the owner of the franchise ALLIED pharmacies. Ash ranted, was disrespectful and shouted at me when I asked why I couldn?t have the item that was on the shelf that my prescription was for (script had product and brand name same as he had on the shelf) After speaking with my GP regarding this , I was told He is obligated to give me this product . I have reported him to Allied . He often closes the pharmacy while he sits in the back having lunch. The only good thing about this chemist is the lovely man called Gareth that works there. He is always kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. On the other hand the Owner , Ash, is lazy (often sitting in the back in his phone for several minuits before he comes out. The customers can see him through the mirror but I think he assumes it?s a one way mirror !) he is rude, aggressive in tone and most of all greedy. Many people don?t go to the chemist on Mondays because Gareth is off and they don?t want to deal with Ash the owner. He has made visits to the chemist both upsetting and difficult for many of the customer. How bad is it to lie about who owns the chemist so you take the heat and responsibility off yourself for being so greedy ? Also fed up of being offered paid services , like aesthetic treatments etc, when I pop in. He won?t have any customers if he continues in this manner.

My wife arrived on time for a scheduled covid booster and had to leave without it after waiting an hour and running out of time.

Booked Covid booster for my mum at 11.35. It is now 12.10 and she?s just going in now. Absolute farce. Would not recommend.

Ash, the owner of this Pharmacy reduced me to tears and humiliated me today. I had phoned the day before my booked Covid booster and been assured I could have the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. When I asked for Pfizer he was abusive, arrogant and shouted at me. I was too upset to even talk. I went to Walton Hospital instead where I was treated with respect. A completely different experience.

This establishment will only accept a minimum of £5 spend on all card transactions which is a breach of banking law since 2017. If an establishment accepts card they cannot charge for a minimum spend or set such a spend limit. Also this shop did this during the covid 19 lock down where cash is been advised not to be used.
