It?s hard to put into words what a special experience it is shopping for a wedding dress at Alexandra Anne. The beautifully designed shop is the ultimate place to browse and try on an incredible selection of dresses from designers all offering something unique. Choosing one was an unforgettable experience and Jess was a total joy to work with, lending her expertise gently and being there every step of the way. I couldn?t recommend a visit here more ??

I came for two visits here with my mum and we had a wonderful experience both times. They have a great selection of dresses, the environment of the store is beautiful and inviting, but what really set it apart was the care and expertise and the time they took to get to know me help me work out my options. This was a bit of a drive for us coming from Cheshire and Manchester but it's absolutely worth it, whatever stage you're at of your dress-hunt you'll be in safe hands here.

What a gorgeous experience at Alexandra Anne! I had no idea what kind of dress I wanted, and I went into my initial appointment being super picky about what coverage I wanted in the dress. Jessica and Kirsty were so patient with me, not only taking me through their huge collection of varied styles, but also taking note of my likes and dislikes, and helping to style dresses with accessories and endless variations of sleeves and capes for ultimate customisation! The dresses themselves are divine, and these ladies put in EVERYTHING to make sure they understood what I wanted through lots of questioning, ultimately giving me all the advice I needed to feel confident.Thank you so much for everything! ??

Getting my dress from Alexandra Anne was definitely my favourite part of wedding planning! There's a wide range of dresses (but not overwhelming) and I was given plenty of time to browse and try them without feeling rushed at all. Jess was so helpful in picturing exactly what I was after (before I knew it myself), combining the dress with different accessories/veils to personalise it and made me feel really relaxed, heard and excited about the whole process. Can't recommend highly enough!

Choosing a gown for my wedding was something that made me fairly anxious. I was overwhelemed by choice and felt a pressure I am sure is familiar to many brides - to look my absolute best. Luckily I wandered into Alexandre Anne and found a very safe pair of hands. Jess is superb at understanding and managing the many moving parts involved in finding your dream dress: It?s not just what looks pretty, but what makes you feel comfortable and, like the wedding version of yourself. I had a clear idea in mind prior to trying on any dresses but ended up going for something really quite different, down to some suggestions from Jess and she was ABSOLUTELY right. Jess has excellent style and an amazing ability to just ?get it? no matter the vibe you?re after and helped me find a brilliant day into night look that I felt really beautiful in. The store itself is for sure worth a mention. It?s a thoughtfully and beautifully designed space that offers a real sense of calm. I opted for the ?VIP Appointment? for my initial try on session which I would highly recommend, and in house alterations which were arranged seamlessly and professionally. Thanks so much!!

Jess at Alexandra Anne has created the most gorgeous shop and her gentle, kind and positive nature makes the whole wedding dress buying experience so special.I have the happiest memories of going to Hathersage with my mum andvisiting this lovely shop (and the local cafes).I was very nervous about finding a dress with relatively short notice but Jess made feel totally at ease. She has a gorgeous selection of dresses and accessories and a really lovely, light and airy space to try them.On the day my Rembo Styling dress felt absolutely perfect, it was beautiful and comfortable.Thanks for everything Jess!

Oh how I will miss travelling over to this gorgeous shop and seeing Jess who is beautiful inside and out. At my first appointment we had the shop to ourselves to browse the rails and try on, and never felt rushed or pressured. She has a beautiful edit of dresses, lots of choice without feeling overwhelmed and you can clearly see her eye for beautiful styles. You only need to speak to Jess for minutes to see her passion for weddings and her desire to make sure you feel amazing on your special day. We picked out lots of dresses but actually ended up going for a dress that Jess picked out that I would have never picked off the rail but felt incredible in. Jess is also an expert at tweaking dresses to make everything look instantly better on you, I wish I could take her home to do this to all my outfits! My wedding was planned before Covid and we dealt with two cancellations and a prolonged postponement to have a baby. Jess was so supportive throughout the whole thing, and covid must have been a very stressful time for her but you would have never known as she acted as councillor and reassurer. When it came to coming back for fittings - three years after I originally picked the dress - I was nervous having had a baby and been breast feeding. Jess was empathetic and had come prepared with solutions for any concerns I had. She made me feel amazing and I can?t find the words to fully express how grateful I am to have found her and her shop and would highly recommend Alexandra Anne to anyone looking for a wedding dress.

I had a fantastic experience getting my wedding dress at Alexandra Anne. I had been to a few places previously but nothing matched the service here. Jess was so patient and gave great styling advice. Nothing was too much trouble and she was incredibly accommodating around my busy schedule. Would 100% recommend!
