Doesn't do food anymore, but there is a resident Dog and Cat who will eat your pork scratchings for you, and you will give them gladly. I didn't get pictures of the dog. Oh, and the ale is nice.

Great, friendly and welcoming pub. Lots of great drinks choices, including some well kept real ales. Regular live music on too. Well worth a visit.

Spent a weekend in the town and visited a few bars/pubs. This is a great wee town and the high light is the Tavern. Marc and Haley are what a local pub was designed for. great Craic and the live music was top notch. try it you will not be disappointed

Best pint of "Neck Oil" for miles around.
Lovely staff and always a selection of "unique" locals to chat with and have a laugh.
