Lovely pub, friendly staff, good selection of drinks. We liked it so much we ended up eating here and so glad we did. The food was amazing and didn?t take long at all. Definitely paying this place a visit again. Thank you

Went today ordered food which took around 45 minutes to arrive (only sandwiches with chips and very quiet when we ordered). I ordered a tuna melt £8.95 which arrived drier than the Sahara desert! Asked for mayo so I could sort it myself to be told they had none. Took my food back to the bar and explained I couldn?t eat it as it was dry and not very nice. Waited 20 mins or so and no one came to the table. Went back to the bar and asked if anyone from the kitchen was actually going to come and see what was wrong, met with oh I can get someone (should have already happened) and also chef (really? All you are doing is re-heating bidfood or brakes food!) said they had added mayo? hmm so how come you had none when I asked for some!! No customer service and really not great food, should have known really can?t remember the last time I had decent food here- will not be back!

Very friendly staff, great atmosphere. Pool table. Live music: Faye brothers - for free! And staff even put on a free hot and cold buffet for the customers- thank you so much,! Amazing night. Great pub!

Best pub in Hadfield, decent prices, great bar staff, solid 8.5/10!
Updated: new kitchen takeover and updated menu, more traditional English pub food, very good standard, prices and service. Would highly recommend steak and ale pie!!!

We had 4 for 3 Tapas dishes...
Duck Spring Rolls
Chicken Satay
Honey Chicken
Prawn crackers
And the egg noodles with chicken.
We couldn't believe how quickly the food came out and it was hot, fresh and delicious!
Highly recommend.

Today me and my friend went to the chieftain for a Sunday dinner. When entered we asked do you have a table for two please in the response we got ?what?we then continued to ask again and they looked at each other and ignored. After a third time we finally got a table.
After waiting 20 minutes watching them on there phones we went and got our own menus after asking the table next to us if he got his own or it was brought. He said they brought the menus.
I?ve been here a few times and I feel very let down by the attitude of the floor staff. For this reason I won?t be dining here anymore.

I recently visited The Chieftan and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a casual meal with friends. I tried their signature burger and it was delicious - juicy patty, fresh toppings, and the perfect amount of seasoning. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I would definitely recommend The Chieftain to anyone looking for great pub food in a relaxed setting. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!"
