Called in the cafe for a bite to eat. Lewis was on his own working the till, cooking the food, serving the food, clearing the tables. What a star! No complaining. The food was quick, hot and delicious. He kept the queue informed of wait times and got on with it. Needs a commendation!

the worst cafe for food and comfort im afraid
May i start by saying staff in the cafe were lovely however
The cafe was FREEZING don?t know if the air con was on full belt but it was freezing had to put my hoody and coat in I wasn?t the only one who complained the staff just said it?s always cold here !
The big breakfast my husband had wasn?t worth the £9.50 price tag everything was poor quality and nearly cold - except the toast that was decent
The jacket potato I ordered with cheese beans and tuna was appalling like warm hardly any filling and the cheese was pretty non existent

shocking and improper service, I tried to buy a redbull from here and they didn't let me even though I'm 21, their reasoning was because my sister (who is also over the legal age to buy redbull) didn't have id, I've shown my id and they still didn't let so I told her to go to the car so she's not there (even though that's nothing to do with the law as I'm the one who is buying it) yet they still denied purchase, A redbull literally just a drink not alcohol not tobacco just a redbull (and a few chocolates), absolutely shocking and irrational

Young members of staff stood outside talking and smoking near the entrance....
Had to walk through clouds of exhaled smoke ...also , members if staff now look scruffy & untidy due to only part of uniform being worn ....(think this is cut backs) ....members of staff chatting up customer services young female and no one wanting to serve ...

Twice recently asked go speak to store manager re petrol price, which is 6p per litre dearer than Hattersley. Is Glossop store price fixing with local retailers??
Store manager was not available both times.
Also, staff chatting while customers wait to get help at self serve tills. Becoming an awful place to shop.

I was at the self service checkouts on Tuesday 24th September. I realised I hade forgotten an item. The lovely young lady staff member noticed me looking perplexed and asked if she could help. She went onto the shopfloor and got my forgotten item for me. I wish I knew her name. She is an absolute star and a credit to Tesco. Excellent customer service.

This offers one of the nicest all day vegan breakfasts. Reasonable quantity and really tasty. Sausages. Avocado. Beans etc and of quality. I am not vegan but wanted to try it?I did not give it 5 star because I only give 5 stars to mine?

Trolly slammed on on me while leaving the store and winded me also very embarrassing and gives me anxiety with trollys now.
raised this with the staff the manager didn?t care about me or what had happened still awaiting some form of apology from Tesco worst experience 10th May this happened still nothing.
