Very busy, but it was a beautiful day so I'm not surprised. A lot of the menu wasn't available but the scone was lovely.

Came again today, my second visit. Food was absolutely delicious again. Very fresh, lovely variety of tasty ingredients. Beautiful place, inside and out. Didn't want to leave. Staff were really nice. Ten out of ten.

Relaxed, tranquil, exciting good food. Not your usual hum-drum expectations on the menu. Beautifully presented, made with love and care... and it shows. I took my gf here on a nice sunny day and we were talking about it all the way home. It's not that local to me but going back soon.

On entering Shepleys, I received a warm welcome from all staff members. There is a good selection of lovely seating areas, including an outside space alongside the river. A great selection of homemade delicious food is available. A great little find in a beautiful setting. Will definitely visit again.

Charmingly presented cafe/bistro in a beautiful setting by the brook. The food is all homemade by the excellent chef and local bakers - vegetarian and outstanding in quality. Tea also above average. It has limited opening hours and gets busy, and the wait to be served can be very long, those are the only drawbacks.

Had a lovely lunch in Shepley's yesterday, whilst visiting our son in Glossop. There's a nice outdoor seating area at the back, overlooking the river. We chose one of the specials, cheddar tart, which comes with small portions of varying salads, it was all delicious. The staff are very friendly and the cafe has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be having lunch here again when next in Glossop.

I went to Shepley's for the first time last Friday and what a treat it was! The pretty, cosy and thoughtfully decorated interior was lovely and my sister and I were served by a very helpful and efficient young lady. We had cheese scones and pickle with a selection of salads which arrived quickly and were delicious. Couldn't resist buying a piece of Bakewell sponge cake to have at home for tea which was equally delicious. What friendly staff and a supper chef. Thank you all. Will definitely return in the Spring and highly recommend o everyone who happens to be lucky enough to be in Old Glossop.

I'm all for supporting local businesses but this was a bad experience for us, we ordered for takeaway and every single drink was incorrect, venue seems nice inside but space is limited, drink sizes are shocking small, for a thimble of latte it was £3.30, maybe we just had a bad visit but I can only go off the experience we
