Called to enquire about a domestic appliances which needs elements replacing. These have been Googled prior to making enquiries and both are fairly new modern appliances by well known brands. So I knew replacement elements were easy to obtain.Spoken with an electrician who assured me too and pointed me in their direction.Quoted both models and makes very clearly. Had to repeat myself twice. Person who I spoke with came across completely uninterested in helping at all. Felt he lacked Customer Services and couldn?t care helping at all. Told me he couldn?t even find them on his system, and then brushed me off by saying go to ?Curry?s? which is a retailer- they don?t order spare parts by the way!Lesson learned twice now. Won?t ever go back or call them again..

Went into David Woods as we needed new appliances ?. We were quickly shown around and advised. The prices are very reasonable, and a fitting date was arranged ..Bang on time , the fitters arrived and sorted everything quickly and efficiently and even took away the old appliances .Superb service !What a great asset this shop and staff are to Glossop and surrounding areas .

Bought a Hotpoint oven from David Woods. Prompt delivery and swift installation. Manufacture fault on rotisserie. Hotpoint customer service almost uncontactable and engineer they sent out uselessProblem rapidly sorted by David Woods who offered to replace it within daysStaff are Superb. Would have been in a real mess if I?d ordered from a big company or online as Hotpoint so uselessWould recommend David Woods absolutely unreservedly

Excellent customer service. After 3 weeks without a working washing machine and numerous engineer?s visits and my stress levels were at an all time high! I was advised by the manufacturer?s customer services to go to the shop where it was purchased. The lady at David Woods phoned customer service for me, sorted out a new replacement machine and had it delivered to me within the hour and the faulty one removed. More than than I couldn?t have ever hoped for. Sorry I didn?t ask your name but I can?t thank you enough. It really does pay to buy local.
