After not getting much help.from argos customer services and especially argos card services ( rude and unhelpful).I rang( 31st Dec 2023) this store and spoke to 2 separate members of staff on 2 separare occasions, both young men who were down to earth honest ,friendly polite and a lot more helpful than the above .Told me what I needed to know in mins x straight up good honest service .Big help x

Website confirms store is open until 9pm. Made a trip, specifically to pick up an item already paid for online, arriving at the store at 8:41pm, to find it closed. Very poor customer service.

Fabulous selection of items. Needed to get used to ordering online rather than just popping in but got that nailed. Staff helpful and pleasant. The process is well organised and social distancing is adhered to. Perspex screens and 2 meter foot markings on place. In and out flow organised so that customers don't have to pass each other.

Called to reserve an Oculus Quest 64GB on the 22nd of December and was very clear I didn't know whether I would be in on the 23rd or 24th so I would need to reserve it for those days. She only reserved it for the 23rd and I was told there were 'quite a few in stock' anyway.I go into the store on Thursday the 24th and find out my reservation expired and the last one was sold in the morning.Whoever I spoke to sounded desperate to get off the phone and as such made a lazy reservation and gave me seemingly false information about the number of stock. I assume she was referring to the most expensive 256GB version.I also inquired about paying over 6 months with the buy now pay later scheme. I asked if I could get an Argos card on the same day and she told me I could. She neglected to tell me what I would need to get said card, again, presumably because she was so eager to get off the phone.Ended up having to pay up front for the more expensive version which was £100 extra and was offered no compensation or anything. Just an apology.All in all a terrible experience and I would avoid at all costs, just go to a bigger store.
