I just witnessed a friend of mine who was recently hospitalised with infections, attend the welfare pharmacy at 18:16 pm and was refused the needle exchange service due to him being ONE MINUTE LATE. I can understand the medications being locked etc, however the needles exchange is under the counter and was in full view. The ONLY reason was due to one minute late,. This was a flagrant show of absolute ignorance from a so-called healthcare professional. Even after explaining about his recent hospital admission AND telling them the actual reason for being a minute late (I won?t even say this as it?s unbelievable since it was a tragic and emotional reason which only adds to the whole saga) I decided to record the whole incident and I am still in shock at the whole drama. I?m disgusted with KEVIN AND YEE (the pharmacist?s) and bell they should be held accountable for not considering his health conditions.

Asked for a family members prescription to get released as I care for my family member and was told no and to come collect the prescription rudely by the pharmacist was shocked at this and when I rang back as they had cut me off they kept on putting the phone down so I had to ring the surgery to ask them to release the prescription very poor service from a pharmacy. The pharmacist needs to either learn manners when speaking to patients or get sacked.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and efficient. When you enter the shop the staff always have a smile on their faces and nothing is too much trouble if you have a problem.

Welfare pharmacy is the only chemist in the city which sells Durex Eye Drops. An invaluable product for making love blind at just the right moments. Great service, exceptional staff, huge range of prescribed drugs behind the counter. Lovely window seat to watch the world go by in three columns of loud traffic (soundproofed glass). Whatever you need Welfare will have it or not. 5 stars.

I came there to get my medication and as exempt from face-covering I did not have a mask on. The pharmacist told me he won't serve me without a mask, I asked him if he can give me a mask then (as I really need that medication so I didn't want to cause any trouble) he told me no and that I have to leave. And I think that's against the law...

I needed help with a medical problem which was dealt with very promptly via this pharmacist and their staff, rather than going through the GP. I spoke with Chloe Over the phone and then again face to face. She was absolutely amazing she had great knowledge about my problem and gave me great helpful advice. She was very polite and caring throughout. Keep up the excellent work and thanks for your help. X
