We had our sofa and chairs from this store and we are very happy with the quality. They are very comfy, and we love the fabric. The staff were very helpful. Good value for the money paid.

I purchased a sofa and chair from SCS and immediately after delivery raised concerns with customer service that the quality of the sofa was not acceptable, it is visibly different between each end of the sofa. This was back in March, I have been Emailing and going into the store to get this resolved with a replacement sofa. SCS sent an Engineer out who cut the bottom of my sofa off and stated the frame was fine, which admittedly, it is, the frame is not my concern, it is the different shape, size, and feel of the cushions that is my problem. I have since been told this is due to use, so please tell me who was using it before it was even delivered for this to happen?! Despite several more Emails I am being completely ignored by SCS now. I can't help but wonder if I'd taken their finance this would have been addressed instantly but as I paid outright and in full they aren't interested in the fact their goods aren't up to standard. I will say the store staff have been great it is just the aftercare team/customer services that are lacking in any kind of care or service

Needed a new sofa and there are so many wonderful pieces of furniture but we found a lovely 3 seater sofa and a two seater to match , can't wait for their arrival. The staff were incredibly helpful.Lucky us.

Bought two 3 seater sofas from SCS just out of warranty I noticed that the Fabric was starting go very bobbly (like woollen jumpers do) I went into the shop and was just given a card and told to phone customer care. I rang them and was told to get this checked I would have to pay £75 non refundable payment for the sofas to be inspected. I wish I had never gone to SCS and will certainly never go to them again. I don't think they offer much help at all. I don't blame the lady at Customer Service she just reads what she is told to say. I can only say that SCS are not a very good firm and I would never go to them again. I may as well have bought second hand furniture which I am sure would look and last longer. So SCS get real offer better service and tell the two people in you shop at Kingsway Derby to act as if they do want to help rather than just sit about doing nothing.Thanks for your reply, however, I am not on Social Media but if you check my account you can find all my details.Guess what two weeks on still no further forwardNEVER NEVER BUY FROM SCS THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT WHEN THINGS GO WRONG DO NOTHING. I am now having to scrap my sofas bought from them and buy new from elsewhere.

Awful, the furniture is off poor quality for the price you pay an the customer service are extremely rude an unhelpful.

Just got in and sales lady came, I said is it ok to look round, she said yes I will just explain how our prices work, we just got upstairs and she came up with a coffee for us, my husband was sat on a sofa, she started explaining about the sofa, I said the arms are too low, she lay down on it saying this is how she would use it, I said one of the reasonswere changing the one at home because the arms are too low, she said I will go and find out if its still at the sale price, when she came back we had moved to a sofa oppiste with higher arms saying this is better, but not in this colour, I said we will carry on looking, we then went back to the sofa with high arms to check different colours swatches, the lady came back saying she will check price, she came back again saying its gone up but if we want it she will talk to her manager, then a sales man came putting pressure on saying he can do us a good deal, after explaining the deal he said is there any reason for you not to put a deposit on today, we said we're would like to go home and mesure as it's bigger than ours, he said it will fit perfectly and the col I picked from swatch would go 100%, it was obvious they was doing a sales pitch on us and I felt really uncomfy and wanting to get out without coming across as rude, the car park is 3 hours, when we got back to car there was 20 mins left, they came across as really desperate to make a sale, and we left feeling really stressed

I bought 3 seats 3 sofa product is good but delivery service is too bad I think very very bad 3 time arrangements with me then cancel last second last time I speak to manager is very arrogant

Wow Shocking Customer ServiceWalked into the store No meet and greet completely ignored browsed for dining table, no offers or engagement at all.Headed up to Nottingham Giltbrook, who provided excellent customer service and provided deals. PURCHASED TGE DINING SET WITH 6 CHAIRS.AVOID THE OBNOXIOUS STAFF AT DERBY SCS STORE.

We are looking for new sofas so we called in at scs kingsway derby , we were very interested in one In particular, no one showd any interest in us all the staff were sat downstairs, and then all of a sudden a elderly couple came in and 3 of the members if staff were soon asking them if they needed any help with anything and following them round, absolutely disgusted, is our cash money not good enough, we came to buy today !!!

Bought a corner suite in 3rd Sept 21Delivered April 2nd 22Delivery men where good but wrong gliders/feet where included with the order.I supplied something temporary, but the sections fitted badly together so the men made a report and said someone would be in touch in 24 to 48hrs.It is now 6 days and we are sitting in a queue waiting to speak to someone about this.Here we go again, another big company taking our money and running. We got done by scs some years ago but the salesman told us there had been changes in management and it was easier to get problems dealt with.This is clearly not the case.It is same old same old.We are now at Sept 21st and over a year since we ordered the suite. We have had 5 attempted deliveries of new suites that had same problems and eventually an attempt to fix the problem on site but wrong parts were delivered. We have now decided to have a refund and a payment for damage to our laminate caused by the suite. They insist they need suite back before they will pay us which leaves us with nothing to sit on. They can't even make a gesture on this. The delivery guys put blankets under the suite to stop further damage. Looks awful.All we want is suite gone now and our money back. 5th Oct now and suite just been taken. Got to wait for a contact for our refund. We've bought a suite elsewhere that we get in Feb next year. So thanks to SCS we are sitting on borrowed chairs for 4 month or so. They won't be seeing us again. If I could give them a minus I would. I was told I'd get a call as soon as the suite was collected to arrange refund. No call came so rang and was told shop is disputing how much I get back, they also want to deduct the compensation we got for the floor damage from our refund, therefor basically giving us nothing for the damage. So now we have no suite and are short of £4650. I think it will be going to court if this continues. Funny thing is they don't seem concerned about bad reviews or irate customers in the shop. Total conAfter a lot of arguments and a promise to go to court if it wasn't sorted out, they have now paid up.You have to be strong with these people when things go wrong and stick to your guns. Or. Don't buy at all.
