I went there for my daily shopping yesterday. When I was in a queue to check out at the till, there was only one cashier working on the till ( a young man)
A delivery man from uber or Deliveroo or wherever walked in to pick a parcel, he approached the cashier and asked about his order and showed his order I?d or whatever they show.
The young man at the till with a rude manner raised his voice and said ?there is a queue you need to wait to be served? and the queue was 7 people long whilst he could have just hand the parcel to the delivery man rather than keep him in line for 10 minutes.
The man then walked embarrassed to the line of the queue and I gave him my spot. Then as the cashier handed the parcel said ? let me see YOU start the delivery? as if the poor man was became a self employed to take orders from him!
I understand that working in hospitality can be tough and comes with responsibilities but it doesn?t mean you should be sob to others! I was disgusted my such a behaviour if I didn?t have my child with me I?d told the cashier about but also I believe whoever trained him is responsible too as cashiers are the business representative they?re the people whom serve customers, they should make sure that they have suitable candidates to do that.

This shop is cheating customers in the nastiest ways. For example, in one case, they offer a promotion where if you buy 3 bottles of beer, it costs 6£. However, in promoting more than 15 various brands, they deliberately do not include 1 brand in the promotion, so you end up with high expenses because the promotion is invalid if you don't take 3 "eligible" bottles. This is so nasty because customers tend to believe in the good will of the shop's promotions and think that all these brands placed in one location have a promotion, but the shop managers decided to hide 1 specific brand, so if you don't look carefully, you end up without a price promotion. What's even nastier is how, after speaking about this with the shop manager and expressing his opinion, he just said it's your problem, look carefully. Also, more than several times, a meal deal ends up not counted as a meal deal, resulting in overpaying. I had to come back many times to explain this and they always blame the system and the computer that didn't recognize the specific items (how surprising). You can make a mistake once, but if this happens every single week, it is no longer a coincidence. Dodgy "promotions" while they deliberately exclude specific products from all the others placed in the same place end up in overpaying afterwards. I can't imagine how many people don't even take their receipts and don't even know about this. The last time my family and I visited here, enough is enough, this garbage shop can rot to the ground with these tricks.

I used to use this Sainsbury's regularly, get my haircut call in and do my shopping. But now they have npr cameras and a parking limit of 30 minute, it's not long enough, so now when I've had my haircut I just drive down to Tesco to do my shopping.

Beware of cameras timing you in and out the car park at the back. As just received a parking charge for 59 mins parking.Appealing because received notification from euro car parks after 14 days. So the charge isn't valid..thought we was out of Europe anyway.

Great local store which is convenient on Sundays when most other stores are closed!

Opening hours are great, especially on a Sunday when other businesses are shut you can still rely on Sainsburys.It has all the basics, fridge meals, frozen meals, biscuits, sauces, bread, fruit etc which is ideal.Staff are always very nice, there is parking available. I can see that someone has wrote about the amount of bollards outside - this is because a car drove in to the front of this shop which caused lots of damage.
