“An unremarkable exterior conceals the friendliness and welcome to be found in this Post Office cum shop. Unusual for post offices there’s easy on street parking close by which is a bonus. The post office lady who handled my requirements was absolutely lovely. She has an extremely pleasant demeanour and an almost permanent smile. I highly recommend this post office.”

“A really friendly and helpful village Post Office with all the usual postal and financial services and it acts as an Amazon collection and drop off counter. Also stocked is a small but useful range of stationery, gifts and grocery. At the time of writing (November 2023) it is open all day (8 - 5) Monday to Friday but limited opening times at weekends.Highly recommended.”

“This is the best thing since I got hit by a car. You can put so many things in there. It’s great. The only problem is that animals don’t seem to be accepted. My dog is sad now. Reeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I was able to fit a small box in it. I got very excited. I spent a good 20 mins looking at it. It’s like a second family to me. Love this place so much.”

“Being a village post office space is obviously limited which can mean slightly longer cue times than wanted. Apart from this Repton post office is such lovely place to take care of post and such things. Staff are always friendly and willing to try to help you that extra with information you are unsure about. Nice to see that artists and authors alike have their work on sale here. Such a credit to the village.”

“First visit to the Red Cow for food. Cosy pub great menu plenty of choice. Our party of 4 chose Fish Pie, Liver and Bacon and Steak pie x 2. Fish pie was a very large portion in a dish with mash and veg. The pies had light pastry filled to the brim with chunks of steak, chunky chips and vegetables. Liver was soft perfectly cooked with mash and peas. The gravy was to die for! Desserts were chocolate brownie and strawberry cheesecake all with ice cream. Great value and very tasty. Only downside was our waitress who seemed to be on speed pills. Everything was done at 100mph ! She slammed the drinks down on the table so hard she slopped the beers all over the table no apology. Same with our meals they were slammed down also,she seemed in such a hurry yet we were the only ones eating so not rushed at all. The older waitress was great and made us very welcome we will be back definitely.”
