My new local post office to which I?m shocked at how rude everyone is working behind the counter. Don?t know why the man works there as he does not enjoy working with the public. Excuses always are, we?ve banked up, the machines not working, hand gestures to show he?s closed, just generally extremely rude in manor. Has no communication skills whatsoever, shall be doing business elsewhere in the future.

Absolutely shocking service. I HATE having to go in there.Apparently they have changed their Saturday opening hours from 12:30 to 12pm. But haven't changed the opening hours on the door nor change it online.Wouldn't even let me in to the shop at 11:50. All I got was " WE ARE CLOSED. COME BACK ANOTHET DAY!"

Absolutely shocking that post office the attitude , the manners of the owner.I can't understand how it's still running .He needs to go on a course for people skills , as clearly he has none.Everytime you ask for any assistant he allways seems to make feeble excuses .Won't see me there again get much better service anywhere than there .My only disappointment writting this review is I have had to give 1 star .As its definitely ZERO stars

Ridiculous place. They open when they want, or close should I say. Why update your Saturday opening time to 12.30pm if you?re going to be shut by 12pm (if you ever opened.The comments here are correct, a rude little man runs it, couldn?t run a bath!

Awful, would recommend visiting another branch. Went in at 4.32pm on a Monday to post something as next day delivery. There were 3 staff members just sat behind the glass doing nothing but watching me. They told me it was too late to send out today as they have closed the bags. I questioned why so early when there?s 30mins left until closing time, their explanation being they are waiting for the postman to collect any minute now. I happened to be in my car outside the post office and noticed the post man then walked in to collect the bags at 4.56pm! I was shocked at how the staff were ready to end their working day by not doing any work for the last half hour of their shift. It?s not fair on the people who work 9-5, considering I left work an hour early just to make it in time for the post office. At first I thought the woman was just racist as she spoke to me super slow (like I am a child even though I?m UK born and speak fluent English) and the staff were just staring at me like I was the first Asian to ever enter the shop, but reading the other reviews I can just tell they are a bunch of idiots working there!

Just avoid this place if for you can. Every time I am forced to go there, I leave upset, either for the way I am treated, the service or them not respecting at all the opening times. They stop people from entering the post office at 16.30 when they are supposed to close at 17!

The ladies who work there are brilliant, chatty and helpful. The Postmaster who works there is both miserable and lazy unfortunately. I went in with some old stamps that I wanted to ask about swapping for new ones. I was about a week after the end of July 2023 deadline for doing this. I showed him one old stamp (see photo) and he said it was out of date and I couldn't use it. It isn't out of date, it has a barcode, so he was either lying to me or he really doesn't know anything about the new barcoded stamps. I showed him some more old stamps, and these were definitely out of date. He agreed and said that getting them swapped was absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the Post Office, and that I had to go online to Royal Mail to arrange it. Turns out he was lying again. The Post Office have FREEPOST envelopes that they can provide to customers specifically for stamp swapping, it says on the Royal Mail website. I have since managed to get those swapped now via Royal Mail, but with no thanks to Sinfin Post Office. They also say their opening hours are all day weekdays, and they're not. They close for an hour for lunch on weekdays. So all in all, if you really can't get to another Post Office instead, and have to use Sinfin Post Office, try to get served by the ladies there. I am extremely disappointed that the Postmaster seems to just say or do anything to avoid him having to do any work himself, even if that means that he has to lie to customers.

A place to avoid.The rude asian man does not know how to speak to customers. Awful customer service skills. I believe being called a 'postmaster' has gotten to his head. Please reconnect with humanity and stop being rude to people. The 'power' has gotten to your head, it's sad.

Rude staff who never seem to have a smile on their face. It?s never an enjoyable experience coming into this branch, so I avoid it as much as possible.

It says they are open online but when I went around 12 pm they have closed the post office for lunch break.I went specifically in my lunch break for this and can't wait till 1 pm when they open as I am back to work.Wasted my time going there and I had urgent letters to send.If you gonna have breaks please put it online for people to know.Never seen any other post office closed for lunch break! Ridiculous.Cant rely on that post office ever again.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received at the [sinfin post office] on [23.03.2023]. I feel that I was treated unfairly and discriminated against by one of your employees, which has left me feeling upset and frustrated.On [23.03.2023], I visited your post office to collect a MoneyGram transfer from my mother. As my bank account was blocked at the time, this was an urgent matter for me. However, I was met with hostility and discrimination by the employee who was assisting me. Despite explaining my situation, he refused to help me in the future because I had my children with me, saying that he would not serve anyone who was with their kids. When I asked him why, he responded with derogatory comments about Romanians(,,I hate Romanian anyway), which was highly offensive and unacceptable.As a mother who is alone and has limited time, I was shocked and saddened by this treatment. Discrimination in any form is intolerable and goes against the values of equality and respect that we should all uphold. The actions of your employee not only violated my rights as a customer but also disrespected my identity as a mother with children.I am hopeful that you will take this complaint seriously and investigate this matter fully. I would like to see immediate action taken to address the behavior of the employee and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. As a loyal customer of your post office, I believe that I deserve better treatment, and I hope that you will take the necessary steps to restore my faith in your services.

ATROCIOUS customer service - patronising staff who do not know how to treat their customers properly and politely, especially the POST MASTER who is most RUDE. See the other poor reviews from the many other dissatisfied customers. I think you need hand the reigns over to someone who cares about customers and makes them feel valued?? AVOID this Post Office at all costs. Don't let them humiliate you and take your business elsewhere.
