Very smart looking from the front, stylish contemporary Christmas decorations inside with a comfortable atmosphere.
We dined as a party of two on Tuesday 4th December lunchtime. Quiet relaxed meal, very good service.
The quality and variety of food is very good.
Opted for the festive 2 course at £20 each.
Great value!
Highly recommend.

Decent atmosphere (more rustic than the shopping centre one), nice food, brisk and friendly service. We had a classic pizza each; enjoyed it but would recommend ordering a side too.

Cant comment as entered the building saturday at 2pm ( it wasnt busy) and stood waiting to be seated.
Was noticed by a waitress and ignored. A simple ' i will be with you shortly' would of been appreciated.
Waited a further 5 minutes with zero interaction.

Probably the worst gluten-free pizza I?ve ever had! My husband?s standard margarita pizza wasn?t much better. Really expect better from Pizza Express. ??

Very delicious! This was my son?s first time at pizza express and he loved it as much we do. We ordered the dough balls, pollo ad astra pizza and they?ve stopped making the pollo forza pizza but they tried their best to recreate it for me with the ingredients they had in the kitchen. We also had the brownie and ice cream for dessert which was excellent. Kids ate free which was nice and they even gave my son a lotus biscoff biscuit, his favourite!

Food was good; however, service was very slow both in taking orders and food coming out of the kitchen. It wasn't very full when we went either.

Well well well, I?d not been to Pizza Express for nearly 10 years so thought I?d pop in. I am so disappointed! What used to be a slick operation is now a lacklustre excuse for a restaurant.
The restaurant was empty, literally 3 other people in there (see photo) but everything was SO SLOW. You shouldn?t have to ask the server for a drink when you first sit down - this should be their first question.
After asking, she was surprised that I only wanted to order a drink and not food at this stage. Seriously? Isn?t that what people do in restaurants: order a drink whilst looking at the food menu!?
After a wait I had to ask to order my food, and again after another wait, for the bill. I could accept it if it was busy but it was the literal opposite.
Not impressed.

5 stars aren?t enough for the outstanding service received by Ingrida at the Iron Gate restaurant every single time you enter the building, she is a top tier waitress and never fails to amaze with the quality of the service provided. Hands down, the best waitress I?ve ever had. The food is also great especially when prepared by chef Neil, they have a nice variety of starters, mains and deserts, as well as all kinds of drinks. I love that the menu changes every so often so you?ll never get bored! Honestly, I would love to leave more than 5 stars as the food and service is outstanding.
