Lloyd?s Bank staff are incredibly RUDE at this branch. Came in last Thursday. Wanted to put money my bank at the counter. I had less then £500 to put in and I like counter service and the man forced me to use deposit machine. Lloyd?s Staff do not care about customers whatsoever, careless and dreadful service. Lies and Disrespectful. Lies saying you can only use the counter if you take out or pay in more then £500,00 or get coins in or out yet in other Lloyd?s branches you can use the counter regardless. I did not put my money in I went to Halifax and HSBC and sorted me out fully. Even tho Halifax are owned by Lloyd?s Halifax do care about customers and staff are much better so is HSBC. Lloyd?s are NOT by your side what an absolute lie. Service 0/10 staff Dreadful

Visited the Derby St peters St branch today 2nd April 2024 around 4:40pm. Witnessed an older white female manager speak rudely to two teenage girls who were waiting to use the paying-in machine. When she asked them to use the counter instead they informed her the staff had instructed them to come use the machine and she raised her voice and loudly and stated "well I'm the manager go use the counter". Simply no need to speak to the kids that way.
If that wasn't bad enough she then went to the other side of the bank and literally shouted at a man as his credit card account had been closed down and he didn't understand why. He wasn't being loud, in fact I couldn't even hear him. She then proceeded to use a loud voice to tell him it was due to further checks being carried out and he wasn't eligible... everyone in the bank could hear his personal situation what ever happed to client confidentiality?
I was in there for less than 3 minutes and the two instances occurred. I was feeling quite uneasy being in the branch as she was telling people off and using a loud voice to let everyone know she's the boss so I decided leave. As I turned around to leave she shouted at someone else "you shouldn't come so late". I looked at my watch and there was 17 minuted left until the bank closed... unbelievable.
Usually it's a nice branch to visit with friendly staff whoever this lady was throwing her weight around is single handedly bringing it down.

Appalling service rude and unhelpful staff. Went to withdraw some money from the cash machine. The machine wouldn?t let me insert my card I then went to ask one of the ladies on the customer stand near the door if I could go up to the counter already being aware unless your getting more then £500 out you can?t go to the counter. I was abruptly told no and told to go and wait for the machine to come back on. I went back and gave it a couple more minutes but nothing happened so ended up leaving.

Alex lynam provided me with the best customer service I've had from any bank ever.We had a few obstacles to overcome in setting me up as a Lloyds Banking customer, he had an excellent proactive 'can do' attitude and solved all the problems/hurdles.He gave me his contact details and stayed in touch during the whole process.Lloyds Bank have got a real star here.I'm happy to be a customer.

Yesterday, I went into the Derby branch as I required 100 pounds in small notes so that I could give my grandchildren a treat. While I was standing in the que to see the cashier, a person from the bank came up to me and asked what I wanted. I explained, and he then said I couldn't go to the cashier as Lloyd's have a new policy for getting money from a cashier. I left the bank, not very satisfied. I went back and said I wasn't happy and was actually thinking of closing my account. The persons reply was yes, I can do that now. He had no compassion for my situation. When returning home, I went up to my local Lloyd's bank, and they explained the new policy and were very understanding of my needs. Someone from Lloyd's bank really needs to train staff how to deal with customers.
