“I have been with Helping Hands since May last year. I absolutely love my job here, I have being doing care for over 20 years and this company shines. We are so supported the office staff are very quick to respond when needed. The care manager goes above and beyond to make sure we are OK and supported each day. Training is excellent and through and kept up to date. I lost a few family members last year and the office and management were there for me every step of the way for me. I have a amazing run with amazing clients. I love to see there eyes light up with a huge smile when I arrive. Its not like going to work, it's like going to see my family. “Prestige are a great company to work for. The branch team are very supportive and helpful and the care workers are dedicated and compassionate towards their clients. All the team pull together to ensure the clients and their families recieve the best care possible. Rates of pay are good especially for complex care workers. Full paid training and opportunity to develop available. Weekly pay with accrued holiday pay is helpful too.”

Good oaks have shown understanding, and the former bosses are very caring and paitent with me. “Unfortunately it seems that people only bother to leave a review if they have something negative to say. I'm sure it's not always perfect all of the time but I feel compelled to share my experience. Care was provided for my mum since early 2022, she was 90 years old and had been diagnosed with dementure a year earlier. The carers have been nothing less that exceptional, the care was raised to a higher level about 4 months ago when my mums condition deteriorated and she became bed bound. Once again the team of carers were exceptional, caring for my mum with empathy and respect. Sadly mum succumbed to her illness and passed away recently. It was telling when I recieved calls from several of them to express their sadness and condolences. These were not just carers they were like family.So on behalf of my mum Raj, and all the family I would like to say thank you to each and every one of them (you will know who you are) and all the office team who were always respectful and professional.Ash. “I am a service user and retired general practitioner. At the Lichfield Branch, there seems to be a restriction in the sense that carers are either office or community based. In my experience this has led to deskilling, so may I suggest a rotation of office and community alternate weeks?”
