My hubby and I used to ask for assistance from Lloyds Bank but due to the bank's refurbishment we were told to go to the nearby Halifax where we can get help from there. We have waited for about 40 minutes and eventually be arranged an appointment with Mr Emmanuel Olatunbosun Emmanuel is a young and smart guy and very professional who helped us to resolve the problem of being suspended on our account as well as providing assistance to book a further appointment for our another issue in relate to savings planning. We are lucky to be met with him and completed all required issues. I am sure Emmanuel is a great asset to either Halifax or LloydsBank. Thank you again Emmanuel.

it's a Saturday there was only one member of staff on the cashier point to be able to speak with, the que was 5 people long and when I asked for £20 in £2 coins they said they had no coins! another member of staff came over and then said they do have coins but they ran out of £2 coins what sort of a bank doesn't have physical money!!!!!!!!
Derby's branch needs to buckle up thier ideas and fix thier staff and inventory, I'm fed up of thier branch and it is my main bank that I deal with so its hard for me to not just switch banks!

Halifax is fantastic, put money in the Bank at the counter as I like counter service. Lloyd?s Is Useless horrible bank however Lloyds own Halifax you get a good experience with Halifax. Not just that Halifax staff are very respectful unlike Lloyds. Halifax care about people. It?s a people thing indeed. 10/10 staff 10/10 branches and Banking App 10/10 recommend Halifax to everyone

Super customer service. Came in with an issue in relation to my account details. Between the staff member and the Bank Manager they were able to help me out with excellent assistance.

The woman robbed me of £10. Its funny because she was so certain of herself that's not much you can really say. If you're working there and you're scraping for £10 I question what they do behind closed doors. Dark brown/ginger haired middle aged woman. Halifax you say your workers wear cameras but there aren't any for this.

The staff have allways been very nice and friendly over the years. However there is a real lack of staff to help and support these days. Its too busy, and not welcoming like it used to be. Time to change banks! There is only one halifax in Derby, no where near enough.

Been with the Halifax for more years than I care to mention! Absolutely brilliant online banking App and never had any issues when using the High Street branches in Central London, Derby or elsewhere - except maybe sometimes for annoying customers or queues.
Definitely the best choice!

Virtually uncontactable. Internet security is impossible to navigate. Don?t waste your time telephoning because even when they do answer the phone they can?t correct their own system failures. Absolutely abysmal.
