Absolutely terrible experience at this Halfords. Took my car in for a service a few weeks ago and when I dropped it off, everything was working fine. When I collected it, my window had completely stopped working.
It turns out the technician (Brady) who worked on my car wasn?t even properly trained. Staff even admitted to me that he?s since been kicked out of this branch and moved to Mansfield. Shocking that Halfords would allow someone unqualified to touch customers? cars.
I left my car for a simple service and got it back with more problems than I started with. This branch is unprofessional, careless, and clearly not to be trusted. Avoid at all costs.

I have no idea why there is no one outside to coordinate the cars coming in. I've booked an appointment for 11:30 and been informed to come 11:20 and so I did ,but no where to park. Every single space taken,not possible to park anywhere close to the garage - parked 5 minutes drive away from center and phoned them to ask what I should do as I will have an appointment in 15 minutes and no where to park, and the lady over the phone was very very rude. Not only I couldn't hear what she was saying but when I did she sounded irritated with my call. I drove there back again exactly at 11:20, two employees have been at the reception, I've parked literally in front and as soon as I wanted to put the hand break, I noticed another car trying to drive in behind me. Total nightmare, total mess and no help from staff. Never again. Unless your car is a size of rubik's cube.

After changing all tyres, they are inflated 0.3 bar less that it should be. Really? you cannot do it properly? After 5 miles driving, I got a warning on the dashboard. Checked, tyres are not inflated properly. Scandalous!!! I won't use Halfords anymore. It looks you don't bother about Health and Safety. It is an easy job, not rock science lol!!!!

I took my car for an MOT and full service here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The premises are located on London Road and have parking to the rear.
They did an excellent job and l shall certainly be going there again next year.
