Love the Warhammer video games and lore so wanted to look at the miniatures and visited the derby branch. didn't know you could learn to paint at the shop for free and even got to keep my first infernus marine.
I'm now just finished up with an infernus squad starter kit and I'm happy with the skills you lads gave me to paint my own miniatures.
I bought more items today and got a pack of heavy intercessors to go with my ultra marines and lots of extra paints. I'll soon have plenty of bits to put on display proudly at home.
Can't recommend the shop enough!

We took our kids here and they instantly fell in love with Warhammer. The staff was amazing, helped them paint their first figurine, and to decided if they wanted to play Sigmar or 40k. They found a new hobby. At home, they spent hours painting and playing. Thank you.

A Phenomenal Experience at the Warhammer Store in Derby
My recent visit to the Warhammer Store in Derby was nothing short of exceptional! This store is a true haven for hobbyists, both new and experienced, and the welcoming atmosphere begins as soon as you walk through the door.
Joseph and Steve were absolute stars of the experience. From the moment I arrived, Joseph was incredibly approachable and knowledgeable. He has an infectious enthusiasm for the hobby that made me feel right at home. Whether you?re a seasoned Warhammer veteran or a complete newbie, Joseph?s expertise and passion shine through in every interaction. He went above and beyond to explain the latest releases, gave helpful painting tips, and even shared his own insights on army building. You can tell he genuinely cares about the community, and he?s there to help you enjoy the hobby to the fullest.
Steve, on the other hand, was a master when it came to product knowledge. His ability to break down complex game mechanics and strategies was impressive. I had a few specific questions about new miniatures and rule updates, and Steve was like a walking encyclopedia! His advice was clear, concise, and tailored to my needs ? it was obvious he wanted me to walk away not just with the right models, but with a plan for how to incorporate them into my army effectively.
The store itself is organised and stocked with everything you could possibly need, from the latest Warhammer 40K and Age of Sigmar miniatures to a great selection of paints and hobby tools. They also have a fantastic gaming space, and Steve made sure to tell me all about their community events and upcoming tournaments, which I?m definitely planning to attend.
It?s rare to find a store where the staff not only have such a deep knowledge of the product but also a genuine passion for the hobby, and that?s exactly what you get with Joseph and Steve at the Warhammer Store in Derby. Whether you?re dropping in for a quick pick-up or looking to spend some time painting and chatting about strategy, this store and its team are truly first-class.
If you're in the Derby area and into Warhammer, this store is a must-visit. Huge thanks to Joseph and Steve for making it such a phenomenal experience ? I?ll definitely be back soon!

Gave my nine year old daughter a painting tutorial.
She was engaged throughout and the quality of the techniques she learned had a great result.
I wasn't painting anywhere near that well at her age.

My Grandson came to the Derby store on Saturday and Tuesday. The member of staff was brilliant. He talked to him and helped him. We were very impressed.

The customer service is excellent. I visited this store on Thursday and the staff were very helpful and gave me loads of advice on how to improve my painting.
