Superb customer service which is very rare these days. Nothing was too much trouble and the sales assistant even tried ringing other stores to find the ring I wanted in my size. Highly recommend.

I rode into the shop on my disability scooter and was seen immediately by a nice young assistant. I wanted a new battery for my ancient watch (Seiko SQ100 - 1996) and the young lady had it done so fast I was impressed. She was friendly and still found time to chat to me after the job was done. F. Hinds must be a good place to go if all their assistants are as good as this one.

I bought a watch from F.Hinds today. I wasn't sure about the colour of the strap, so the lovely guy spent time with me choosing a suitable replacement. Nothing was too much trouble and I am thrilled with my new watch.

If I could give a zero, I would. I went in to enquire about recycling some 24 carat gold. They've advertised they do it and leaflets are all over the place so you would think this is something they would want to do. However, you wouldn't think so from the attitude I got. It was too much trouble and the amount of questions I had to ask just to make an enquiry. Questioned the amount - was only giving a ball park for the enquiry. Couldn't answer which identification they would take, someone wasn't in who did it, wouldn't tell me when I could expect them back then it turned out it was half an hour. If it was too busy so might not be able to do it then anyway. It was just dire customer service. My gut reaction is that 24 carat gold prompted a discriminatory and racist response as it is often from a foreign country and that is just disgraceful. Why be so rude then? In any case, I've gone elsewhere and they have done me a favour as I have gotten 300 pounds more. I've never bought anything from here and now I never will. Avoid.

Looks like I?m not the only one on here with a bad review about the service. I took a ring back today and was refused a refund after being told it turning my finger green is not a fault or reflection of quality. Service is appalling and the manager has no sense of running a store nor any customer service. Do not buy from here!!!!!

DO NOT BUT ANYTHING FROM HEREI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your store today. I purchased a watch with a lifetime warranty from your store, and went to the store today to have the battery changed. Although your system showed my purchase details with lifetime warranty ,the woman who served me refused to change the battery because I did not have the receipt. This is an absolute disgrace, and I will not be giving your store any further business as a result of this appalling service.

If I could leave zero stars I would. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND STORE!! Collected my girlfriends engagement ring after having to be repaired for the second time in less than a year as the stone has fallen out! When arriving the assistant manager Nikki was utterly rude and disgusting. Aggressive and intimidating not only customers but her staff. When asking what will happen if the ring was to lose that same stone which has broke twice!! She come from behind the computer shouting asking us to leave the store. After refusing and wanting to address the matter she come from behind the counter and slammed a sign towards my girlfriend and shouted to leave as if she wanted to attack her. When my girlfriend defended herself and asked the other staff why are they allowing their assistant manager to behave in such a way they were too scared to even speak up. I took my ring and left. I contacted customer service with a huge complaint stating they could clearly see on cctv and on the phone call after when I asked for her name to contacted customer service she refused and said she was sorry. Totally unacceptable in this day & age what the hell?!! Then the company email back to just be throbbed off once again. STAY AWAY!!

I went into the derby branch yesterday to collect my girlfriends wedding ring which we paid for the week before but I forgot to take my recite. The lady was rude towards me and refused to give me the ring even tho it was in my name I showed her my card with my name on. She said I was being rude but I wasn't. It felt like they took how money ? last week and wasn't i rude . The lady who served us last week just egnord us. Very unprofessional people will not return to that shop and the end she game me the ring in the end but I think they need to look at talking to customers better.
