Disappointed with their service, was sent dining chairs with wrong screw fittings so chair not able to be coupled, was told someone will get back to me in a few days, this is now weeks and still no contact

1 star is generous. Sofa was only 5 months old and the material started peeling, independent report confirms manufacturing fault, guardsman confirmed manufacturing fault and originally rejected repairing it, DFS? Don?t want to know. Given 3 different reasons for the same issue. We have 2 peeling seat cushions, another is rippling (what it does before peeling). We?ve also had a failed recliner motor within 5 months and a failed splitter cable and switch within 8 months. DFS replaced those however, have installed the switch upside down! Raised a section 75 with the finance company who sided with DFS ignoring all our evidence and independent report and believed their lies of them sending 3 independent engineers to assess. They have sent 2 engineers who are employed by DFS and are not independent at all. Reported to furniture ombudsman as their lack of taking responsibility it?s disgusting. When ombudsman contacted DFS Derby (where we purchased from) the manager (who was adamant he stood by his ?engineers?) all of a sudden wanted to visit to discuss the issue when he never bothered before. We refused the visit due to the lies that have been told and offered a recorded video call instead. Surprise, surprise not heard from him since. Complete con artists and ignored our consumer rights completely. The finance company legally takes the lead in resolution as they?ve essentially purchased the goods, so we served them with official notice. If no resolution offered we?ll be going to small claims to get back what we have paid for the suite, the cost of independent report, legal fees and for them to collect this rubbish on their own dime! Facebook has a page called DFS/Sofology?-COMPLAINTS. Recommend viewing that to see what DFS are really like. They?re also being investigated by BBC Watchdog and independent journalists for how they treat customers and poor product manufacturing etc.

Mid-sold an item by one of their representatives in store where they advised us against something we initially wanted. Now we?re stuck with it and they want nothing to do with us. Happy to sit and talk to get your order then hide when you return.
The other sales representative was rude and aggravating.
Absolutely wouldn?t recommend buying in store, do it online and don?t be mis-sold any items.

We had a great experience at DFS, lovely showroom with plenty of options. Mark is an absolute credit to the DFS team, he was very welcoming, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble.
Overall, very happy and would highly recommend!

Very disappointed with this service. It was ok until furniture was delivered. It was left unassembled on the ground floor. Was told they weren?t allowed to take it upstairs & that it was self assembly, none of which I was aware of. Had to change plans with lots of other arrangements going on. Extremely frustrating. Find a store that offers full service & communicates better.

Very happy with the service we received the chap was very pleasant and explained everything to us. Also our delivery date was brought forward by 2 weeks. As this was day after boxing day it wasn't convenient. As decorations still up and we had plans. I rang them and they instantly changed the date to be convenient. The delivery drivers were sound and protected our paintwork before carrying the sofa I.
The sofa looks lovely I'm very happy

Ordered a sofa at the beginning of October, delivery should of been around the 19th November, still waiting the company don't care keep being lied to every week

I don't understand why we can't cancel the order after a week? the sofa will take 12 weeks to be delivered, but we can?t cancel the order after a week? It?s unreasonable and doesn?t make sense! The delivery fee expensive than others sofa companies too. I don't recommend this company at all.

We are extremely disappointed with the service we received from DFS under their care plan. Our sofa had a mouldy front leg, and we requested a repair, which was agreed upon. However, the technician who came out did a poor job. Instead of replacing the leg, he swapped it with a back leg, leaving the mouldy leg at the back and hoping we wouldn't notice.
Not only was this dishonest, but he also damaged our sofa and home in the process. He slammed the sofa back down, which caused further damage to the furniture and left marks on our flooring. To make matters worse, he applied glue to the fabric, bent the zips, and damaged the inside of the sofa.
We trusted DFS to handle the repair properly, but this experience has left us with a sofa in worse condition than before. I would strongly urge others to be cautious and make sure repairs are done correctly, as this situation has been frustrating and upsetting. We are still waiting for a proper resolution.

Had some lovely sofas with friendly staff, the woman who actually served us was so lovely and couldn't of helped us more, they weren't pushy and made sure we knew what sofas would go nicely in our living room and would fit through the doors would, definitely come instead of scs

A month later and still awaiting delivery of my sofa, despite being advertised as being available for immediate delivery. Passed from pillar to post trying to get answers but no joy. Deeply frustrating and very poor service.
