The food and coffee were fine but the actual experience was probably the worst I've had from any coffee shop. Dirty tables staff seem confused. Generally a stressful excpirence. Be sticking to independents from now on

Located in the heart of Derby City center is this spacious (relatively) café that serves decent coffee (quality of coffee could improve) with above average and friendly customer service.
Place is almost always packed, they have comfortable couch seating in the corner along with the regular chairs and tables.
Good place to hang out, or get some work done.
Also available here are a range of food products by M&S.
The flapjacks here are sweeter and my son says yummier than the ones by M&S.

Very rude supervisor (I?m not sure ,guy with glasses) on a power trip , telling me to leave because I brought my cat and she was in her carrier sleeping not even making noise and I?ve brought her 3 times , will never come back, only come if u want to feel bullied

They only employee beautiful people I noticed it very particularly with there choice of staff this is a good thing as they choose nice friendly people mainly never met a Costa staff member with a I don't want to be here attitude. And the frappes are nice but fat in a pot

I sheltered here from the pouring rain early in the new year. Welcoming staff, good coffee and a nice armchair by the window to watch the world go by!

We went in before work to kill some time we were unaware that we had to buy something to sit down, we had an energy drink and an empty McDonald?s bag and the assumed manager was immediately confrontational, stating we were ?taking the piss? and was strongly implying we had to leave, we were immediately apologetic and purchased something, he was then really short with us and we felt we had to leave, no need for instant aggression, very poor behaviour
