Nice easy convenience shop, however i hadn't had any encounter w/ that specific rude staff many of the reviewers mention on the till because i use the self-checkout kiosk

There's a member of staff working here that is extremely rude and passive aggressive, and I have now experienced on multiple occasions this male member making myself and other customers feel very uncomfortable.
Mackworth is a tight knit community and the co op has been an invaluable asset for many years but I've a feeling that if this staff member remains unchecked then you are going to lose a lot of your customers, especially with the arrival of heron foods. I feel sorry for the staff that have to work alongside him as just one encounter at the checkout with him feels unbearable, nevermind an entire shift.

I only use this shop to send my Yodel parcels otherwise I wouldn?t use it. Every time I go in there?s a mature lady, has glasses that was working at 9am on the 04/12, she is extremely rude, no manners, no acknowledgment and seems she doesn?t enjoy or want to work there. This isn?t just a one off, she?s unpleasant every time I go in.
I?d use Heron foods up road, cheaper and staff are more pleasant!

i really dislike and was dissatisfied with your worker dan. he always repeats himself i asked him how his day was he did not reply and just asked me. i wanted to know and no dan i don?t have a membership card and j think he?s on the spectrum fire him!!!!

This store needs customer training not just for a member of staff but also it's manager needs training. Utter rudeness at it worse. I won't use again because I would hate to think my money is put to paying wages to ungrateful people that are on a ego trip.

It's always a pleasure visiting the Coop on Prince Charles Avenue, the staff always go the extra mile, to be helpful and friendly.

They have self service and nobody on the tills now. It would be really really helpful if self service tills actually worked. Then you have to shout for the unhappy staff member to come and serve you. Technology is the future.

Don't use Coop there is a new food shop opened up on Humbleton Drive Mackworth called Heron foods across the road from Nisa and they are cheap good prices

Do love a co-op shop and never had any issues, don't normally use this one but I was passing, and won't be using this again! The lady (Margret) who served me (eventually)on the till was so miserable and not a great asset to the company at all!
