Very poor service from front of house staff. When confirming our details, it wasn?t done very discreetly. The optician himself was very good but the examination room was not of a good quality. The decor was quite shoddy as was the furniture.During the glasses selection, the assistant didn?t offer any advice on styles or fit. In fact she said very littleWhen we arrived a few weeks later for collection, the service was not much better. The assistant fitted the glasses at the reception desk all rather hastily. Again, there was no real input from her. I would expect to be seated in an area away from the front door.I wouldn?t recommend this place to any of my friends or family

Oddly, they advertise that they sell Zeiss and Hoya Individual lenses. However, when I called to ask whether they use Snellen or had either the Zeiss iProfile Plus and iTerminal or Hoya EyeVision Machines the receptionist got her back up as she proceeded to tell me that in 34 years she had never been asked before and could not tell me, questioning my intentions when I clearly said I was looking to buy individual prescription lenses she proceeded to ask me if I was an optometrist.

Came with mum (74) 9:15am appt its 9:35am opticion not here & the receptionist has not even said sorry or showed any concern. Absolutely zero professionalism or customer service.. never again

Professional, pleasant, helpful and super efficient customer service...quality and design excellent! 6 days from the eye test to receiving my glasses. I highly recommend!

Excellent. Went for a contact lens checkup. Was treated very well, and tried FIVE different contact lenses in store, then he gave me 5 days worth of the best one whilst he ordered three more types of lenses to try. Needless to say I'm delighted and was such a different experience and outcome to visiting Boots Opticians. I should know too, I've been wearing contacts for over 37 years.

Excellent service. I trundled around the big chains in Derby after obtaining my eye prescription without luck, then spotted this store. I popped in and was greeted with a smile, patience and great advice on frames. No more than 45 mins I was walking out with my new frames and single vision lenses. Great choice of brands and stock in store too. I shall definitely be back. Can't recommend enough!
