Hidden gem! Beautiful quiet cafe with friendly service, lots of nice regulars along with healthy portions and affordable prices ?
The English breakfast was good and large. The sausages were alright but the hashbrowns, mushrooms and tomatoes were really good!
Service was excellent and very fast and pleasant. Quiet relaxing atmosphere with some friendly regulars where the staff remembered their custom orders! Definitely would recommend :)

Nice quiet little cafe. Basic in what they do but they do it well. If you want an old school cafe then this is the place. Allowed changes to the breakfast as I'm not a fan of mushrooms or tomatoes on a breakfast. Go as much as you can to keep small cafes like this open!

A really uncomfortable experience. Felt like walking into a doctors waiting room and about as welcoming. Service vague,food mediocre, at best and expensive. Could not recommend.

From the moment I stepped into Derby Britannia Cafe, I felt a warm embrace that transcended the ordinary coffee shop experience. where every detail was attended to with love and care. it was the staff and owner(gill) that truly made my visit unforgettable. Their genuine smiles and warm greetings made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. They took the time to engage in heartfelt conversations, sharing recommendations and their own favorites from the menu. It?s clear that they are passionate about what they do, and that enthusiasm is contagious.

I left with my heart a little fuller and my spirit a little brighter. If you?re looking for a place that nourishes not just your body but your soul, look no further than Derby Britannia Cafe. Highly recommended!

Not been in the Britannia for years after walking into town fancied a full English breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful cafe very clean and tidy and the breakfast was beautiful will definitely go back again ??

Came with my daughter for a breakfast. It's somewhere where we've been coming for several years. It's familiar, well priced and the food always tastes really good.
I like the fact Brittiannia cafe looks after the elder generation, and I can see myself continuing to come even when I am retired. It's our go - to local cafe, as holds lots of positive memories with my children.

Older crowd, definitely a silver surfer type of cafe. But staff we polite and service was quick with the food tasty.
They allowed me to edit my order slightly due to dietary preferences.
And the cost was quite reasonable to say the least.
I only needed a place to sit for 30 minutes or so, but it was a decent find.
Tucked a little out of the way, it looked closed until I went up to the door.
