I hate to be pedantic. I work in retail, mistakes happen, I get it. Ran in to grab a snack, picked up the 50p pineapple (labelled ON THE PACKAGE!!) and was then told at the till ?actually, it?s 75p?. Queue behind me so I decided to just go with it. They scan my pineapple through as 1.50 - and then refund it as 1.25? And charge me again for the 75p price. Didn?t realise until I?ve left the store. So now I?ve paid double the price I was originally told it would be!! I know it?s just 50p, and it?s just pineapple, but incredibly frustrating on principle.

Decent store but I?ve stopped coming here often as the female security guard constantly hovers over me whilst I shop and even once accused me of shoplifting. Makes for an intimidating shopping experience. Apparently not allowed to browse without looking suspicious ?????

Rude staff members at the tills no common communication to customers e.g Hello, Thank You or Goodbye. Also noticed a fair few times when I?ve been in, that one female security staff seems to follow anyone who looks young and hovers over them. Even seen her do it to people who have uniforms or lanyards for other stores on the retail park. Honestly she makes for a very uncomfortable shopping experience every time.

I would like to acknowledge and commend the care, attention and advice that I have received from the regular Lady Pharmacist in attendance at Boots Pharmacy at Kingsway Retail Park.
She has demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, patience, reassurance, kindness and is clearly competent, experienced, knowledgeable and kind.
She listens, enquires, observes, then advises accordingly.
Her interventions and support have enhanced my quality of life, also instilling knowledge with the payoff of improving my health?. It is a Win Win.
Sorry I?ve forgotten her name. She is of Asian heritage, approx 5ft in height, approx late 50?s - 60?s age group. Greets you with a smile and quietly spoken.
She is an asset to the profession.
Thank you Boots for employing older, experienced staff who can pass on good practice to those following behind.

the store is not replenished on a regular basis many perfumes and testers are missing only large sizes missing 50ml,75ml All perfumes are closed in cabinets. I like to choose and smell perfumes without rushing, meanwhile to try perfumes I have to ask someone to open it I don't like it when an employee stands over me and closes the cabinet in front of my eyes. I don't like these boots

This store really needs to be looked at - it is the nearest one to me but I can never find anything in stock that I go in for. It is seriously understocked. I know it is a small store but I can?t understand how it keeps going when the shelves are always half empty! I have been in so many times and always have to empty hand and it?s getting really frustrating now. I don?t find the staff to be very friendly or helpful and there?s always an intimidating security guard in there following you around.

Awful service when open and always closes earlier than advertised on line so emergancy prescription I had to collect after 6pm I could not get and this has happened twice now

The woman called Kumba has no customer service skills, no hello, please or thank you. The moment I have walked up to her to pay she was giving me dirty looks, she has then failed to remove a security alarm sticker that was attached to a product which made the alarm go off. I have stopped and asked her if I could leave or what, to which she stared at me like I was stupid and said "what do you think?" Disgusting service, you should stick to stacking shelves cuz you have no people skills. The customer that she served in front of me was a black lady to which she was ever so lovely, but as soon as I walked over she changed to being miserable, racist.

My husband presented to the pharmacist with a swollen eyeball (actual eyeball) that had happened out of the blue whilst we were travelling to our holiday - this isn't our local area so we had to just try on a whim.
The pharmacist was on lunch so we sat and waited for 15 minutes. When the pharmacist came, she was friendly enough but her advice was unprofessional and definitely not medical. She said she had no idea what it was, to which I said from reading it seemed to be something called Chemosis, an inflammation of the conjunctivita, and that it's recommended to treat with drops. To which she said she didn't know what drops and that he should use a warm compress instead - we are on a 4 hour drive, we don't have hot water in the car (which she knew!) So she proceeded to advise that he, and I quote, "blow hot air on to his tshirt and press that on", at which point we were absolutely baffled and left.
Thankfully, we aren't local, so won't be returning!

Went to Boots at Kingsway Derby this morning. The lady pharmacist put me at ease immediately and was both first class and professional.
