Came along for the quiz night and what a great night I had drinks were great food was great and the staff were lovely will definitely be coming to the quiz again and maybe visit for brunch at somepoint soon

Went to celebrate nieces gcse results… food was nice however service disappointing.. was told where table was rather than being seated although booked. From building society, to bank, to BEAR – this ornate old banking hall site on Derby’s Iron Gate stood empty and forgotten for 9 long years… until we came along.
BEAR Iron Gate, Derby sits slap-bang in the centre of the city’s iconic and beautiful Cathedral Quarter; the original hotspot for high-quality food and drink. Opening in 2017 following the success of our Uttoxeter store, the progression to Derby seemed natural for BEAR, as our two founders spent a lot of time in the city as teens, so they have loads of fun memories attached to the place.
