We visited under the new ownership as it was one of our favourite spots previously.
We had an eggs Benedict and a full English. Both £8.50.
Would have liked the hollandaise sauce a little creamier but the Benedict was cooked well. Runny eggs, nicely toasted muffin.
The full English is good value at £8.50. Although, the meat items aren?t as good quality as some other local cafes. But I do think that is representative of the price.
The cake counter definitely isn?t as inviting as the previous owners though.
Free parking.
Outdoor tables.
Friendly service.

When the cafe originally changed name, the retained the high quality baked products that had made them great. Fast forward a few months and the large selection vegan/non vegan cakes appear to have been replaced with shop bought products at a huge mark up.
It used to be worth a drive out, but we won't be returning anymore.

We visited aroma today for the first time since the new owners took over, had a delicious lunch with excellent service, nothing but welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! They were so warm and friendly to talk to and absolutely fantastic with our 2 year old son Theo and 4 year old daughter Remi who were over the moon with all the attention they were given. We will definitely be visiting again!

They are back, The best cafe in Derby! Food is exactly how it was before..delicious. Owners and staff are fantastic, creating a friendly and fun vibe. Prices are far below the quality of the food, only cafe i have been to that gets the fried eggs perfect ?. The coffee is really nice as well, just the right blend to cover every taste ?.
Pay a visit, you will return and return ?.
I had a breakfast cob and a decaf cappuccino.

First time visiting and we were very impressed would definitely recommend this cafe! Great coffee nice little touch with the metal straw in the iced coffee, the food was really good didn?t have to wait long and would come back to sample more from the menu

I love this little coffee shop, haven't eaten there yet but what i have seen it looks delish. Very clean staff are great serve you with a smile. You can sit outside and they even have water bowls for the dogs. Try for yourself.

Possibly one of the best breakfast I?ve ever had, and it was delivered and turned up in perfect condition and taste was up here for a festival I will definitely be back next year very tasty

Been before and really enjoyed but visited yesterday with my daughter and my sister/nephew were meeting us. Stood for 10 mins getting ignored to ask if it was ok to take a table as there was still pots on it. The lady said yes and she?d clear the pots shortly although rather abruptly. Waited 15 mins and still no pots cleared. My sister tried to get a Highchair and couldn?t get to them as they were blocked and the same lady just watched on. Didn?t find the staff very friendly at all, and ended up walking out to go elsewhere as had 2 hungry children wanting food and seemed to be a never ending wait

Nice, tidy, organised place with delicious foods, ok coffees.It is great to stop by for a meal, snack or just a coffee.These is a bit room to improve customer service wise but no biggie.I wanted to give it 4 encouraging starts.I recommend this place

We now live local to this little shop of delights and I can not fault it. Every time we have been in to eat or to grab something to takeaway the food and coffee/shakes has always been amazing. The different specials mean we get try new things all the time and they are just incredible creations. The cakes are just another level ? again it's never the same stuff on offer daily which is really nice. My favourite are the cinnamon swirl cookies! I have bought many cakes for friends too and everyone always comments on them being the best they have had. Highly recommend. They can get busy when dining in so always pre book a table so your not dissappointed. Staff are lovely and friendly and I'm so pleased they are just on my doorstep now well worth the cost of moving house ?Parking: Local parking available
