My friend has had 4 of the 5oz steak lunchtime special meals, the first pretty good, 2nd inedible but she didn't want to be a complainer, 3rd got sent back as couldnt cut it with the steak knife and was replaced, 4th a fair bit better but plenty of grisley bits still so approx half got taken home for the dog. First time visiting. Lovely little pub, cozy & homely. Good variety on the menu & reasonably priced. We ordered the the creamy garlic mushrooms from the starters, it was nice but very soggy.
