WENT TO KATHMANDU NEPALESE RESTAURANT IN CLAY CROSS. HAD SEA BASS NEPALESE STYLE WAS THE VERY BEST. FISH WAS FRESH NO SMELL. WHEN I SAW FRESH IS EXCELLENT INDEED. PULAI RICE WAS VERY GOOD . THE STARTER THE PRAWNS WAS SLSO VERY GOOD. JOHN MY HUSBAND HAD DUCK AND COCONUT RICE IT WAS GOOD INDEED. HAD TAKE AWAY OKRA,WITH POTATOES ? WAS GOOD. THE BOSS AND THE WIFE AND ALL THE WAITERS ARE VERY POLITE CANNOT GET BETTER THAN THIS PLACE. WELL MANNERED TO THE DISABLED CUSTOMERS AND CARING. ALSO TO ALL CUSTOMERS INDEED. THE BEST RESTAURANT I HAVE BEEN. BLESS THEM AND THANKS FIR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND INDEED.OF COURSE TO THE CHEF ??? ? ? LEAN X

Delicious food, good prices and excellent customer service. Really friendly staff. Also naan breads are the best ones I ever had, they are something else and it is worth visiting to try. We are definitely coming back.

Wow. I have been driving past this restaurant on my way to work, so for a family meal we opted to finally try it. Midweek it was busy, not empty like most places around, I mean actually busy. That says a lot these days and we all commented that people were still arriving after 7pm and even after 8pm, and that was on top of take away orders!
We enjoyed the vegetable MOMO, onion bhaji, poppadoms and pickle tray, mojito mocktails, paneer Lababdar and lamb byriani. All were presented beautifully, perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and balanced.
There is a reason why they are busy. The food is exceptional, service attentive and the atmosphere relaxing. We were made to feel very welcome.
As a side note we usually like a peshwari naan, tonight we opted for a date and ginger naan to go, and it was delicious, like stunning, and became the new firm favourite. We are looking forward to returning soon!

maybe don't slag your customers off when they get what I can only explain as rock hard bark around 1.5inches in their food. to be told that the "black crap" is a cardamom pod. have photo evidence and still got parmed off after waiting a hour for food I nearly broke My tooth on!

We ordered a delivery for a takeaway on Saturday night. It was ordered at 6.20 for a delivery slot at 7.30. At 8pm it hadn't arrived so we rang the restaurant to be told it was a few minutes away. At 8.30pm it still hadn't arrived and we got a phone call from the delivery driver asking if we still wanted our food .... which we did after waiting an hour for it! He said he was 3 minutes away and after 10 minutes he arrived. 1hr and 10mins late. we spoke to the restaurant who didn't offer us any kind of refund or compensation. our advice would be if you want a takeaway go and get it in person. Not the best customer service and we felt very let down.

I love this place, the food and the people that own it. My only criticism is that when I ask for 4 or 5 fresh green chillies in my home delivered chicken vindaloo there is never any added..Still a 5 star and 10 if I could, just give me my fresh chillies in my vindaloo.
