I've been with TSB since it was regional, that is since 1956. Staff and service are excellent. What more could anyone want?

Visited TSB Bolsover today with my sister to consolidate accounts and open a savings account. We were greeted and dealt with by Kerry. She was very helpful and professional. She guided us through the process and gave us information to be able to make the right choices in the circumstances. She offered us a follow up appointment to ensure that all the accounts had been transferred as per discussion and to ensure that we were happy with our decisions. We were delighted with the service from the local branch. Thank you Kerry.

I have been with TSB for over 50 years. I started in the Clowne branch and then moved to Bolsover. Staff always professional and helpful. Kerry gave me sound advice in January 2024. Will be definitely seeking their advice again

Kerry was professional, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable whilst helping out with arranging the affairs of an elderly relative . A true asset to this branch and a real credit to the TSB . AAA+++ service

Made a complaint about the deposit function on the atm machine outside. Wasn?t working on 2 consecutive days. I really rely on this service. Poor answer and poor service. Lady in charge had poor customer service skills

DISAPPOINTED & IRRITATED - *NOT THEFT,* _JUST FEELS LIKE IT!_
I bacame a customer in the autumn of 2023, moving my account from First Direct because of communication problems with them (1st Direct);
Did TSB ever really want my business? Does it want to keep it? I don't feel it does. On coming to the bank, I brought about £3 grand with me in various savings. I applied 3 or 4 times for an overdraft but was turned down each time. OK - no one has the right to borrow money. But when you have whet then because four then FIVE GRAND is regular weekly savings going into a "bonus saver" type interest account, who is risking what for their possibly granting an overdraft? And why would I want or need one anyway?
I *HAD* a number of little "standing orders" (now moved elsewhere); cutting out the froth and straight to the point, I received a text message telling me I had insufficient funds to cover a standing order for £5.04 when they by then have 5 grand on deposit (and I will come onto that in its own right) where they tell me on auto that "charges will be levied"...
And these savings in the "bonus account"???? Well, finally reading CAREFULLY, the Ts&Cs state they will keep 90% of the interest in any one month a withdrawal is made ON ***ALL*** THE MONEY. So out of my to then building £5 grand, I needed £800 (completelty expected) to pay my income tax. These people didn't just keep the interest on the £800 I'd needed for the taxman - NO! They kept all the interesty on all the money!!! Nice!!! So were I to have had half a million in there and needed £1000 to pay my tax, they'd be keeping all the interest! Not just the interest on the withdrawn money - no, the interest on ALL the money in the account for that month. **THIS IS _NOT_ THEFT! It just feels like it!**
Needless to say, the savings will be withdrawn entirely the day after then next pay interest on my account and placed elsewhere. Sure, my fault for not carefully reading the Terms & Conditions beforehand. I repeat, it's NOT theft - it just feels like it!
So what exactly has TSB actually done to help me with my finances then? I am terribly disappointed! They couldn't trust me with a small overdraft just in case I'd overlooked something minor - and while I was trusting them with my wealth building, they've been helping themselves - through their Ts&Cs (which I admit I hadn't read prior to the surprise having paid my income tax) to keeping the interest my money had earned.
Like I say, DISAPPOINTED! The only way I can stop these people keeping a month's interest on what I have saved with them is to remove it all and put it elsewhere. What a fantastic customer retention idea!

Hi All, having opened a business account last year, I initially found the staff I dealt with, were really helpful and attentive.However, after my visit today I can see why there's so many poor reviews.The Lady I had an appointment with was really unhelpful. I had previously tried to phone the branch, but as usual, there's apparently no one to answer the phone. So called the main landline & was advised accordingly. Travelled 8 miles to be told that the advise I'd been given was wrong & I couldn't withdraw the the previously arranged funds. No wonder there was nobody in the branch as all the locals must know the how bad they have been treated. Never had such terrible service from any bank in 50 yrs of being in business. Needless to say, all funds are being removed & sent to a Bank who respects You & appreciate your business. Hopefully The management will take on board all these negative comments
Hi I live in ng18 and I had to go to bolsover tsbHowever the bank haven't really help me at allI was there around 12 , it wasn't busy at allI had to wait around 30 min ?The staff James he tried to help me on the waiting area ,I specifically said I didn't have a tsb bank in my town and I came there for supportI call on tsb on my phone and they ask to speak with a member of the staff and James talk with themHowever I didn't like that James gone in is office with my phone and my card without my permission ,when I ask him if we can go to his office to speak with the tsb office he sayd No in the same time more costumers ,Kelly come and it was very noisyMy problem wasn't resolved and I'm not happy with costumer services they provideI'm a regular costumer with this bankAnd I want a little bit more seriousityThank you Ion

What a con. Worst banking service ever, having failed to open a bank account online through their switching service, due to their unfit for purpose software, I had to open the account in branch with assurances of the switch bonus. I now have to waste hours of my life complaining to the Financial Ombudsman Service. God know who'd trust them with their hard earned money.

I would give negative stars but since I can't their lucky to get this star, The manager is very rude and would not let us take any of our money out which I find stupid because they are super nice when you want to put money in the account they were all kind but if you want to draw any money out regardless if the company you want to pay for is a legitimate company because to there policy everything is a scam because it is not local even though we showed proof of them being a legitimate business they just did not want to know, we wasted 3 hours of our lives just waiting for just to be told we can't have it because the company doesn't have a card machine which the most idiotic reason
