When boiled potatoes are ordered with salad you do not expect them to be swimming in butter! Chicken was raw. Salad was a handful of chopped peppers.
No confidence in the chef here at all. Definitely won't be returning or recommending.
The servers were rushed off their feet and did a great job with a huge crowd.

What a lovely pub?we are just stopping in Barlborough for one night on our way north so called in here for a couple of drinks. The two girls who were serving were really friendly and welcoming and the bar was bustling with what we assume are locals so it had a lovely atmosphere.

Attended the fireworks this evening with the family. Display was amazing not going to lie but the health and safety is horrendous. Crowd was way to close the display. adult's and kids getting burnt from falling debris. Also stood in the queue for an hour for food to be told there was no burgers left. Needs to be better organised and a lot safer in the future.

Nice bar. Good selection of drinks and snacks. Lots of large TV's for sport, pool table and darts. Jukebox too. Very modern looking inside. I'd say it possibly had a recent makeover. Deceiving from the outside as its has that classic older pub look. Enjoyed my visit and highly recommend. Dog friendly which is a big plus.
