This is my regular pharmacy due to its convenient location and opening hours, unfortunately if it wasn't for these I wouldn't be using it.
The text service to tell you that your prescription is ready is very hit and miss, sometimes I get one and sometimes I don't which means I have to make the trip in to find out. Also they have had problems sourcing some medication recently which has meant I've had to go out of my way to go to another pharmacy which has had it.
The worst aspect however has to be the customer service, collecting a prescription (when I've had a message to say it was ready) took 24 minutes from getting in the queue to receiving my medication. 18 minutes were spent queueing and another 6 to find and check my bag. I was fourth in queue when I arrived.
Why do they have to check my bag when I go to collect it? Surely this has been done/verified when they got the prescription together in the first place? A 24 minute wait really is not acceptable. I have noticed signs have gone up telling people to be polite to the employees and while I don't condone being horrible to people I can understand peoples frustration if their service was the same as mine. Fix the service issues and the sign won't be necessary!
This is probably more of a management/policy problem than the customer facing employees.
Another pharmacy in Clay Cross received my prescription, put it together and it was ready in five minutes.

Had someone else prescription trying to ring tesco pharmacy all they do is keep cutting the call off poor service. Yes you can beauty but this is just awful. My Gp didn't prescribed it and luckily I asked.
I'll stay clear and wait until my pharmacy is open. Don't even deserve 1 *

I'd give zero stars if it was an option. Unreliable and slow with repeat prescription service and text messages. Repeatedly left without regular medication for days because they don't let you know it's ready. The first question is always have you had a text. If you haven't they really don't want to bother checking. If you do have a text it's still a 30 minute wait. They really let Tesco down on reputation

I recently visited this pharmacy to fill a prescription provided by my doctor. After handing over the prescription, I had to wait for 30 minutes for my order to be packed, only to be told by the pharmacist that I needed to pay for it.
The prescription clearly indicated ?FS? (Free Supply), which should have made it clear that I did not have to pay. Unfortunately, the pharmacist was unaware of this code and refused to give me my medication. It was frustrating to deal with the lack of knowledge on something that should be common in their profession, especially after waiting so long.
This experience wasted my time and added unnecessary stress. Pharmacies should ensure their staff are better informed about prescription terms to avoid these kinds of situations.

Staff don?t always give the impression they want to be there serving. Access to collecting prescriptions after working hours is super! But allow 20minutes for it to be dispensed as that seems average- not an issue if you?re shopping at the same time.

New staff on they seam ok, it's the system had text saying prescription ready for collection all sealed in the bag ready yet they take it all out the bag to check it again, get back nearly home another text they have missed an item off, cost of fuel and time really time to change pharmacy

Tesco really need to retrain their staff on the pharmacy! Absolutely obnoxious, appalling service, they were very very rude, condescending and just downright horrible and disrespectful! I understand that everyone has an off day but?. They were both awful awful! Did Tesco just drag them off the street for their job? Obviously we?re not trained! Or I?d like to know who the trainer was? Ooh can I just add, I went into peak pharmacy on bridge street and told them that the Tesco pharmacy said they were a bit tick there!!!?????????? the cheek!!! Although she didn?t look surprised when I told her!!
