Went to collect my dad?s emergency ?End of Life? medication @ 7 pm after confirming with his GP that Tesco Pharmacy was open.
Sign on the counter said closed at 4pm and was told that this was due to no dispensing pharmacist available .
I asked if GP?s were made aware of this situation as they were sending prescriptions to Tesco Pharmacy and was told ?no?.
We are now phoning 111 to find out what we need to do.
Disgraceful!!!

Generally poor service and long waits. I received a text saying my prescription was ready to pick up, but there was nothing ready for me when I went to pick up two days later. Husband's prescription also appears to have gone missing.
Another time, I asked to buy over the counter migraine tablets and the pharmacist refused me, insisting a prescription was required when that's blatantly not true. Five minutes later my husband approached and asked for the same tablets and the pharmacist happily sold it to him without and questions. Truly shocking sexism.

My doctor sent an emergency prescription for antibiotics for me, my daughter went to pick them up, however after waiting 45 minutes, my prescription wasn?t there, they told her I should ring 111. No help at all!

This place is a joke. Not open because of the weather! But a sign out side saying you can drive to clay cross. If it OK for me to drive there, then it's OK for the staff to drive here

I am not sure that I have ever been to this pharmacy and not spent 30 mins queueing. Often I queue to be told I will be queueing again. Most times there is a 10 person queue at one end and then lots of people stood waiting to pick up, being ignored.
There does not seem to be much of a system and the poor staff look frazzled and overwhelmed most of the time. Really feel for them. When Sainsbury's had the pharmacy it was not like this at all.
I would say management needs a full overhaul or it just needs scraping. It's a waste of time and space in store the way it currently runs.

Send my prescription in on a Monday on the NHS app, said it was issued and need to wait at least 3-5 days, so I rang 4 days later and said "it's not ready just got your prescription, should be ready tomorrow". So waited till tomorrow and tried ringing them nearly 5 times with no answer, so I went there to see if it was ready and they said "we haven't sorted it yet can you come back in 20m" so I waited, went back and said "were sorry but some of your items are not ready, can you come back tomorrow instead"

Absolutely shocking. Sent prescription in over a week ago. Gone to collect today got told half hour wait. Thats fair enough! 35 min later i go back to pick it up got told its ready just needs checking by pharmacist but hes in a consultation. Again fair enough cant be helped. Said pharmacist came out of consultation started checking medication then stopped and started having a chit chat with another member off staff. At this point id been waiting over an hour. I raised that i was annoyed at this. To which a staff member tried telling me that i had not been waiting over an hour which i had. She then started making comments to a customer about people been rude clearly aiming it at me so again i just raised the fact that i was annoyed because id been waiting over an hour and i wasnt just stood there for the fun of it. Didnt get the medication she handed me the prescriptions back and told me to leave!
Took the prescriptions to peak pharmacy on whit moor sat for 20 min and it was ready!
No excuse for tesco havin the prescription a week and it not been ready if i could give 0 stars i would!

I am a healthcare professional that supports people with learning difficulties. I called the store, because the direct number was being ignored, to eventually have to be physically taken via portable phone to the pharmacy as there was no way the front desk could transfer me. Once there I overheard the person at the pharmacy say "They'll just have to wait" and then say "I don't get paid enough for this". Absolutely disgusting!

After calling 111 twice, the pharmacy claims the prescription has not been received at all and I'll have to call 111 back! I had already done this twice. 111 chose another pharmacy who received it straight away, no issues!
If I could leave 0 stars I most certainly would. My advice, if you require the service of a pharmacy to have prescriptions sent electronically, choose a different one because this one is beyond unprofessional and it would appear that when they are busy everything simply falls apart.

Good service though obviously not as fast as a village pharmacy as more footfall because of the supermarket it's inside. Told me my prescription would be ready in 15 minutes though and it was

I usually take my dogs prescription here and pay around £6 for 90 capsules of gabapentin. I also pay the vets £19 for a written prescription. Today I went to collect my dogs prescription to be told the usual 90 capsules would cost me £71! I told him that was incorrect as I normally pay £6, he checked on the computer and came back and said the £71 was right. How can they go up in price that much in a month? Are they gold plated because I?d expect that at that price! Ridiculous. Safe to say I got my written prescription back and will go elsewhere. I also picked my prescription up at the same time after receiving a text to say it was ready, the woman said it wasn?t and to come back in half an hour, I showed her the text and told her to look again. She then found the prescription! Won?t be using them again. Tesco pharmacy sort your staff out! ?

Very rude staff, she was clearly smirking as she informed me they didn't sell any of the medication. I went to Boots and got what I needed.
