Awful service today, was left waiting for half an hour and when I enquired if it was going to be much longer as I had a meeting to get to, I was told there was only two people who could deal with my issue and one was busy, after 50 minutes I left as I could not let my customer down. On their hold music it says we should appreciate their time and patience! It?s a two way street!! Maybe some customer service training is required in branch

Called into the Chesterfield branch today to change a few things. Firstly, I was greeted with a warm welcome, which is so nice. ? I don't normally leave reviews, but after going to another bank to change a few things and having a bad experience (not Santander), I thought people are always quick to complain but never take the time to praise. So a big shout-out to Sandra. She was friendly and very helpful and made my day. Thank you!

The lady who served me last week arranged for someone to ring me this morning at 10.30 am regarding me potentially investing a very large amount. The call eventually came at 2.05 pm when it was not convenient?.no apology and a made-up excuse. The second time in the last few months that poor service has resulted in a significant loss of business for Santander(Chesterfield).

SUCH A DIFFICULT BRANCH TO TRY AND OPEN AN ACCOUNT FOR MY 16YR OLD SON
Went to the branch about a month ago to try and open an account for my 16yr old ready to start collage. The ID we took was birth certificate, marriage certificate, tax credits, child benfit and obviously my husbands bank card. Because my husband is not on his birth certificate they wouldn't accept them as ID. The lady said if got any doctors letters, hospital ect bring them, no he doesn't get them. Up to date child benfit letter or collage letters. So in the past few weeks we've recieved a letter about telling child benefit about him doing collage so we can still get claim. We also recieved his national insurance number, and an upto date tax credit's. So we go back in today and they still wouldn't accept, as they said national insurance number letter was dated 2021???? how only just recieved. Just want to say how pathetic your branch is with opening accounts. I've took myself elsewhere and opened one with just his birth certificate and my bank card. Think you need to change your ways of what form ID you accept as not only me but others will go elsewhere.

First visit since the refurbishment. Great that this branch is still operating in Chesterfield after so many branch closers. A lady called Julie helped me today when paying in a cheque and informed me that I could actually do this on the banking app. She went on to explain how and her help was very much appreciated.

Very rude manager at that branch. Very unprofessional. They seem to target vulnerable & disabled people to line there pockets. They have solen £1250 off me & told me they suspected fraud. Proven where it comess from & that it legitimate & transferred from HSBC account & still nothing. Now no shopping for me or the children.

Had a problem with a mobile banking transaction. Telephone banking were slow & useless. All was sorted out in branch by Stevie Jones who I can't praise enough. Friendly, efficient & a total credit to Chesterfield Santander. She needs promoting!

Very disappointed with this bank especially this branch absolutely useless been there 2 days they couldn?t sort out my issue they just not bothered and keep you there hours I?m new customer but I?m going to close down this bank today

Whilst I am very happy with their normal service, having been the victim of a very professional scam on my accounts today and in order to report this to prevent any damage or losses, I rang their ?24 hour?fraud service three times at 19.00 to have the phone put down on me each time. To protect myself I have contacted Action Fraud and will attempt to ring bank tomorrow and have a long wait as usual. Their chat doesn?t understand anything.
