This surgery is negligent at best. If you care for your health or your family's health, go elsewhere. The failure of the management and doctors here is appalling, and they are undoubtedly responsible for late diagnoses and, ultimately, deaths. I can not stress this enough, this is not an overreaction, and I don't leave this review lightly. The staff here should be ashamed to work here.

Had a miscarriage over christmas and wanted to speak to GP about few concerns. And jst general health check. Its like i was asking for gold trying to get an appointment. Had one for January and it was cancelled. Its ridiculous how lazy doctors have got after not doing anything over lockdowns. Dont get why they are still not seeing patients face to face.Wish i stayed with whestbridge and never moved. Can never get appointment at old whitt, always send to ashgate. Useless.Roll on privatisation of nhs might actually be able to get appointments than and see real DR. ?

Have cancelled twice on appointments for my children in recent months.One cancellation was on arrival, (when I had taken my son out of school) I was told "The nurse actually isnt in today. Hasn't anyone told you?"This weeks cancellation was 30 mins before for immunisations. I was told that this was because a doctor is required to be on site when immunisations take place and they had no doctors.Concerning...The lack of basic administration is going to harm someone.

Ever since they have joined royal primary care it has gone completely downhill never get through on the phone I have been taken off mental health medication and basically been left without any appointments or anything I have tried ringing to change my address I can never get through so I am now in the process of leaving and going to another doctors

I can't leave less than one star but trust me when I say my score is 0. Never can get through on the phone and never can get an appointment at my local practice. I will be moving to a different practice. RUBBISH SERVICE!!!!

Unfortunately I've recently been left with no choice but to leave this GP after giving them countless chances. Numerous times I have clearly stated that I wanted to be seen in Old Whittington, since I live locally, only to arrive and be told the appointment was made for Ashgate. The most recent waiting time I experienced on the phone was 21 minutes and this isn't a one-off - quote often I have waited well over 10 minutes. Also, considering there are so many surgeries part of the group, it is beyond ridiculous how difficult it is to actually get an appointment. It is a shame that I am now having to travel further afield to see a GP.
