There's this one old man that works there who will just refuse to give you your mail when you go to collect it. If it's marked for redelivery (which happens automatically for any missed parcels the first time) he won't even check ID or anything. "It's up for redelivery" and that's all you get from him, he'll literally make you wait for the redelivery. He did it to me once after he verbally confirmed that he had my package in the back, after i waited in the que to get it aswell aswell! Did the same to my GF! He's a stubborn entitled human and an utterly lazy worker, with the customer service skills of a honey badger. he should be fired before he does this with someone's medication or something!

Some of the vans I have seen driving around my local area are incredibly damaged with dents, I question if they are actually roadworthy.I'm sure many organisations would not even allow such damaged vehicles to be even seen by public, let alone be driven!

I will never trust Royal Mail again. We've all had stories about Birthday cards going missing with cash inside but this goes to a higher level of brass neck. It highlights my stupidity but that is born out of trusting the local posties who are generally good people.I had two parcels to return to two separate companies. Given I had covid I decided to use Royal Mails parcel pick-up service. One was a straight forward print label and free return. The other was a paid return which I did online. There is an option for the driver to bring a 48hr tracked label to stick on the parcel to scan. I ticked the box for the label thinking it'll be self adhesive and will be more secure than the amazon print at home type.So the driver turns up during the allotted time. He walks towards me waiting at the door and sticks his hand out to take the packages. Of course I ask him wheres the label? He makes out he doesn't know about the label and returns to his van.Back he comes and starts telling me his colleague must have it in his pocket. Now I know the local posties work in pairs from one van so don't give it a thought. So he calls his mate who he describes as an idiot who thinks he knows it all.A good description of me in this instance but even at 64 you live and learn. So his pal comes on the phone and for reasons I now understand, he puts it on speaker."Where's the label for #00?""It's in the pouch in the van!""No its not. I know where it is, it'll be in your pocket""No its not! It'll be in the van.""I'm telling you it'll be in your pocket!""Hang on I'll just check"So you could hear him rummaging about on the phone and hey "I've got it!"This is where I become stupid. So I say well scan this one with the label and you can arrange another day to bring the label and pick up the second one. However he sticks his hand out and takes both parcels from me."No worries, I will stick the label on when I pick him up then scan them both"Like an idiot I let him walk away with "OK, I'll trust you to do that" He must have been laughing his head off!I'd never seen him before so he must be a temp or from a different route. One things for sure I will remember him if I see him passing.Incidentally I've had no reply to my complaint to Royal Mail. I then find that my emails to them are now blocked. I won't use the telephone as I'm liable to lose my temper. So here I am out of pocket to the tune of £75. No way of getting it back. No point of reporting it to the Police as it'll be my word against his. He works for Royal Mail so I've no doubt I will be the one trying to pull a fast one. I could fill a court room with people who would testify how honest I am but it means nothing given I have no proof he was even at my door.I hope West Bars squirm in embarrassment at this post. They damned well should.Thank you Google for giving me a voice that will be heard. Hopefully others will take heed and not make the same mistake.

Cant contact by phone, hours of opening are ridiculous, small area for parking, about 4 spaces and 1 was taken by a royal mail van! Being disabled, this made parking even harder!

Helpful staff, and the latest collection in the area. Last collection times:? 18:45 (Mon?Fri)? 12:15 (Sat)(Correct at 4 Oct 2023 ? see my photo of their big post box for parcels; there are also separate slots nearby for 1st and for 2nd-class letters, with the same last collection times.)

The absolute worst! Every single time I have expected Royal Mail here it has been a disappointment. They come, never ring the flat or drop the parcel, then go ahead to drop the card that says I wasn?t home. I AM ALWAYS HOME! I?ve had to wait for a 1st class delivery for one whole week in the past!!!! Too incompetent!

Junk mail, junk mail, junk mail.Asks for consideration and kindness on the complaints line but Royal Mail has a policy that demands posties ignore 'no junk mail ' signs, and simultaneously its opt-out form constantly needs to be reinforced.Brilliant mafia tactics. So you ask for kindness and consideration when you offer none to the people you serve and expect to support you.

Absolute baffoon of a parcel delivery postie who has deemed our safe place unsafe if there is no box with a lid and isn't prepared to use his time ( in his words) to open a bin liner. The ONLY postie who has been so difficult. Very impressive, well done Royal Mail, a real asset. The level of ineptitude is quite staggering...

Went to collect a parcel, which the man at the counter said wasn't there. He didn?t bother to check and I left. I phoned Royal Mail and was assured it had been scanned in the depot the night before. Not pleased with the service.

I had a delivery attempt yesterday and wasn?t in, another delivery attempt today even though I?d confirmed a safe place and the parcel didn?t need a signature, I then went to the sorting office to try and collect the item as I work so a majority of the time I?m not in the house?the sorting office wasn?t even open and the times on the door makes it basically impossible for anyone to go in and collect anything or sort their issue out. Now I?m going to have the exact same stress and issue multiple times over due to not being able to collect my parcel.
