Enjoyable stay. Didn't eat or drink next door in the brewers fayre, appeared very busy. Football being played which may have contributed to it being busy.

The man on the desk named Kevin was absolutely brilliant. The roads were closed so it was difficult to access the hotel so he called the guests to let us know how to access the hotel. He then provided complimentary box of cookies, and overall just made the stay really warm and welcoming. Brilliant member of staff, and if not yet, management material !Rooms: The room had towel swans on the bed ! Fancy for a premier inn!

Booked room for a visiting relative, they had a wonderful stay, really helpful reception staff and housekeepers couldn?t do enough for us, extra towels and left a box of shortbread in room that went down well with their cup of tea :)Special mention to Dan on reception as helped with directions and plenty of lovely chats :)

Definitely one of the better premier inns. Edit?. Breakfast was a shambles, coffee machines not working, no yogurts, and fried eggs that could be mistaken for frisbees. What is it with this standing and waiting to be shown a table nowadays in premier inns? I haven?t got time of a morning to hang around for 5 minutes waiting to be shown where to sit in an empty restaurant! I originally gave this hotel 5 stars but unfortunately breakfasts has let them down. It?s not a cheap breakfast so don?t offer a cheap service.

Friendly warm welcome, clean hotel, very clean room, however as with all other premier inns the free WiFi is unusably slow. This chain seems to forget the era we're in and that it's quite normal for the average internet user to want to do more than load emails. Even getting Gmail to load fully in Firefox took well over a minute.May as well not bother offering free WiFi that's this awful - unless perhaps you're trying to coax people to pay for the "premium" network (which never seems to be much faster than UK average ADSL2+)?It's the only thing that lets the nationwide brand down.
