“We set up for a wedding here, it's an absolutely lovely wedding venue, great rustic charm, great staff, we were very impressed and have more bookings here soon which is great. Highly recommended.”

“Stayed here for 2 nights 6th to 8th October. Received a warm, friendly welcome from the lady receptionist who efficiently checked me in and showed me to a nice room with lovely country views with sheep in the fields at the back of the building. The room was clean, warm, quiet and well presented. Tea and coffee supplies etc were plentifull.
Outstanding value for money.
Also booked the meal deal which was superb at the Highwayman Beefeater Restaurant next door.
Parking was excellent.
I would definately recomend and return.

“Love this little one off shop, it has lots of lovely buys that you won't find anywhere else, staff are amazing. Ive been going back for years and so have my family.There is are cards, jewelry, childrens gifts and a wonderful Christmas shop, plus lots more.”

“Staff spent a lot of time showing us alternatives and explaining the different features. Very patient and not pushy at all. We originally went just for a mattress and ended up purchasing package of mattress, divan, and headboard. We went back a second day to double check everything, and both times very helpful and friendly staff - both called Shaun!”

This time I needed some fold up chairs as I bought a table this year and only normally need 4 chairs but there was some really lovely velvet ones that look lovely even though my big chairs are a light grey...but my table extends and christmas is comimg”

“Stayed here for a month due to house move, Greeted by Dom on my first day and Nat. Nothing was too much trouble, the keys were explained and shown to my room.Spacious room, very comfortable bed, powerful shower with a bath. Great location for the hotel with roads and various restaurants and amenities, only a short bus ride or drive to the centre.”

“Very acceptale for a budget hotel. Room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfortable and staff were very friendly. There is a Harvester - the 'Treble Bob' just across the car park which was great for a beer, an evening meal and breakfast also. There is a Wendys and a McDonalds a short walk away too if that's what you prefer. Plenty of free parking although spaces were on the tight side. On the whole, excellent value and would stay here again if I needed a bed for the night in the area.”
