“We set up for a wedding here, it's an absolutely lovely wedding venue, great rustic charm, great staff, we were very impressed and have more bookings here soon which is great. Highly recommended.”

“Stayed here for 2 nights 6th to 8th October. Received a warm, friendly welcome from the lady receptionist who efficiently checked me in and showed me to a nice room with lovely country views with sheep in the fields at the back of the building. The room was clean, warm, quiet and well presented. Tea and coffee supplies etc were plentifull.
Outstanding value for money.
Also booked the meal deal which was superb at the Highwayman Beefeater Restaurant next door.
Parking was excellent.
I would definately recomend and return.

“Stayed here for a month due to house move, Greeted by Dom on my first day and Nat. Nothing was too much trouble, the keys were explained and shown to my room.Spacious room, very comfortable bed, powerful shower with a bath. Great location for the hotel with roads and various restaurants and amenities, only a short bus ride or drive to the centre.”

“The man on the desk named Kevin was absolutely brilliant. The roads were closed so it was difficult to access the hotel so he called the guests to let us know how to access the hotel. He then provided complimentary box of cookies, and overall just made the stay really warm and welcoming. Brilliant member of staff, and if not yet, management material !Rooms: The room had towel swans on the bed ! Fancy for a premier inn!”

“The best place to stay in the whole of Chesterfield! The owner and staff were so kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were so clean as well as having very very comfy beds for a fantastic nights sleep. Would highly recommend staying here.”

“Very acceptale for a budget hotel. Room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfortable and staff were very friendly. There is a Harvester - the 'Treble Bob' just across the car park which was great for a beer, an evening meal and breakfast also. There is a Wendys and a McDonalds a short walk away too if that's what you prefer. Plenty of free parking although spaces were on the tight side. On the whole, excellent value and would stay here again if I needed a bed for the night in the area.”

“Stayed for one night to celebrate my husbands birthday wasn't till I was checking out that I was told we could have of had complimentary tea and coffee during our stay was told on checking in that breakfast was continental so didn't bother booking only to find out when checking out it was hot and cold breakfastA lovely lady by the name of lindsey explained all this to me thank you lindseyWe will definitely be back rooms a bit dated but comfortable the location I'd perfect fir a stroll into town bonus there was a wetherspoons a couple of minutes walk from the hotelRooms: Little dated but comfortableNearby activities: Town centre around 5 mins walkSafety: Crossing the dual carriage way to the hotel is very much dangerous no traffic lights or zebra crossingWalkability: Close to the town centre bars restaurantsFood & drinks: They do have a bar and complimentary tea and coffee in the bar but wasn't told this till checking out”
