Had to visit the Chesterfield branch today, 11. 1. 24. Not impressed with the new design. Counter area looks like a kids play area with a white picket fence. No privacy at all when speaking or counting money. It must have cost a fortune. They should have left it as it was and used the money on keeping sending out monthly statements .

Saw Marilyn today as she was in the mansfield branch due to a power cut in the chesterfield branch I wanted to swap my account to a better one. She was so helpful and kind and discussed everything with me. She sorted my account out and I was so pleased with her being so understanding and nothing was too much trouble! Thank you Marilyn xx

Called in today to withdraw money from an account I only have a book for, I cannot withdraw my money because the book wasn't signed when my parents set it up for me over 30 years ago!! Lady on greeting was very kind but the lady behind the counter was incredibly rude and should not be working with the public. I will be making a formal complaint and making an appointment to close all accounts I have with Halifax!

Halifax online services, telephone system are absolutely shocking. I have been trying to renew an account on line fir over a week and keep getting we are having technical issues. Trying to telephone is an even worse and frustrating experience. Shocking!!!

Went to the Knifesmithgate branch today for advices on a potential fraud & was seen by Laura who was absolutely lovely and amazing as she has taken the time to ask me questions and learning about everything pertaining to the issues I've had.She made phone calls for me & used her expertise to ensure that everything was sorted and covered. Couldn't have had any more of a fantastic service from Laura, thank you!

Had an appointment today to sort a joint account, staff couldn?t have been more helpful, all very friendly, we were really impressed!
